Adobe Illustrator 3D Text Effect Tutorial

When i try to export it it says "An operation cannot complete because of unknown error. [!now]" . I watched some videos trying to solve the problem but nothing worked... Can you please help me????

Are you able to do this for a design of my own? Or anyone for that matter as I only have iPad version of Adobe Illustrator and this function is not available. Or if anyone knows another iPad or online app to do this on??

How do you put the differents colour in the side ?

I have a problem with one of the steps. When I select my text and the figure and try to use 'make with top object' it doesn't work. It says that the top object must be a mesh/path or a symbol that must contain a mesh/path. Any advice to fix this issue?
