RIP Les. Genius and pioneer. And when you’re that much of a legend, you get to be as corny as you want.
ОтветитьGEOURGEOUS, how sweet and flat out bad ASS cool. thanks
ОтветитьSo many musicians owe a huge debt of gratitude to Les Paul. Loved this.
ОтветитьB I L L Y G I B B O N S
NOT ZZ Top…in the early days, Billy played a Paul, mostly, “Pearly Gates” was retired.

ОтветитьJust gotta love music made like this
ОтветитьMy father loved Les Paul...Dad would be 120 plus now!
ОтветитьOMG I have not heard Les Paul since I was a teenager ...I am now 82! he alway
s sounds great!
Les Paul invented the guitar that has his name on it. That's not something you can say about instruments named for musicians today.
ОтветитьBoth are living legends.
ОтветитьWhat year was this ?
ОтветитьSlash only knows two chords! Lmao
ОтветитьThis was great!!
ОтветитьWhy do people cry about Gibson's going out of tune?
ОтветитьThere's nothing in the world that sounds like Les Paul playing a Les Paul.
ОтветитьThat was Great !!!
ОтветитьOmg.. my mother-in - law introduced to the great man when I was 17 years old. I was with my girl for decades.. had 3 wonderful kids with the said lady… but Les Paul..I owned SOO many gibbo’s
ОтветитьWhat a staggering event…three Les Paul guitars, Les Paul himself and the consummate Texas gentlemen Billy Gibbons.
ОтветитьThe sound of the Gibsons are soooo good.
Ответить😃🎸
ОтветитьI managed to meet Les Paul as he was in White Plains Hospital where he did unfortunately pass away. I brought him one of my guitars to play while he was there and very sick. He totally enjoyed the fact that I would do something like that but he played it before the great man died. I am so blessed to have met the master and had him play on one of my guitars. The nurses had no idea who he was until I let them in on guitar history, and as sick as he was, he blew me away with his guitar playing. It was my les paul epihone and no amp but just great to hear him do his thing.
ОтветитьThis video was such a joy to watch, what talent and Billy giving the upmost respect to the Man 🍻
ОтветитьLes handels!
ОтветитьJust a shot in the dark after some Buffet tunes and what an amazing lucky find. Real treat to hear and see a true legend with an amazing second fiddle. Real nice.
ОтветитьTHANK YOU it is fun and funny and good to listen
ОтветитьThe absolute pinnacle!
ОтветитьPlayful and wonderful
ОтветитьWaukesha,Wisconsin!
ОтветитьJazz🤮
ОтветитьLes Paul &Mary Ford.
ОтветитьRock and Roll originally was all based on blues then somewhere in the 80s it began to shift away from all that.
ОтветитьI think Les is having a ball being a goof ball.
ОтветитьThat is a beautiful guitar! It is the Harley-Davidson of guitar!
ОтветитьBeautiful !! Huge respect 🙏❤
ОтветитьThat is a neat looking custom guitar that Les has.
Ответить❤❤❤❤❤❤
ОтветитьI met Les Paul once.He was cursing like a sailor because the new sound guy at the Iridium was screwing up the mix. His whole public persona as a nice old man was an act.He was the best.
ОтветитьThe only thing I can do is say I don't know what to do with the person you are you doing today I hope you have a good day you
ОтветитьAWESOME
ОтветитьIt's amazing to see various clips like this of great musicians (typically guitar players) meeting and playing with Les Paul in his "throne room" so to speak. All of them always have stories of his incredible influence. It's wonderful to see them paying homage to him. He was the "grandfather" of a great deal of American music, yet at the same time he was just a humble guy from Wisconsin with a great sense of humor.
ОтветитьAwesome to SEE LES PAUL playing with Billy
ОтветитьI think it's great that Les cuts up about his hearing aids & his pace maker , then asks billy if he grew his beard 1 hair at a time being it was 30 years old 😂😂 rip mr. Paul ❤️
ОтветитьI'm not even American, and I'm saluting you, phil the way you looked down the neck of your fiddle it was like you were taking a shot with a pool cue
ОтветитьThat has got to be the absolute lamest jam session I have ever sat through. What a waste
ОтветитьWow, just wow
ОтветитьThese recordings of various guitar players on stage with Les Paul are spectacular. Thanks.
