How To Correctly Diagnose RROD on Xbox 360! (Don't Be Fooled!)

Same thing here as yours but my power brick goes red when I hit power but the brick works on my other 360. Any ideas?

I literally just had that problem I just unplugged it and held down the power button to turn it on again it worked reason why I'm here I wanted to see if this red eye is normal

the four rings mean your av is not plugged in or theres a huge problem

bro, thank you so much, i was just about to get rid of my xbox 360 because of the red ring of death, but it just turned out that it was a problem with the power brick and not the console itself. thank you, your a lifesaver.

Also i wanna make a skit where theres an xbox 360 elite (Black OG 360) With the nxe dash (I have one) i turn it on i use it for a few min it glitches out i turn it off then pn its redringed and i rage ima call it “Gamers in 2009 be like….”

Ok so I had my box 360 2009 model chipped about 9 years ago about a year or so it started overheating. It loads then just when the games display the power button flashes red then it goes off

Hey man i have an xbox 360 and it just started red ringing my code is the same as yours but occasionally the red ring will switch from top right being unlit to right bottom being ulit not sure what to do if can please let me know what to do.

Great tip about the power brick staying orange when the console is turned on means it's bad. Thought my Resident Evil 360 had gone bad even though it hadn't be used in a long time. Hopefully a new power brick will get it working.

I've a question my old xbox's power supply blinks green once but goes orange is it with the console or the power supply?? I'd love some answers please cos i tried to find it online but I'm not sure

The power brick thing isn't quite right. If there is a power problem in the console (e.g. capacitors, mosfets,...) the power brick will also turn orange 😉

Fun fact: The console can RROD when the power supply is fully plugged in and in stand by.

It happens when the 360 can't generate its internal power rails before it tells the power supply to turn on.
