"I have one piece of advice for you"
ОтветитьWell Im Chinese, so thats easy. For us, the same dialect is spoke differently the next town over 💀
Like "Wgai" for I in my town and my friend's town says "Wui/Mwui" (and we're speak the SAME dialect)
my boyfriend said that im good at that
ОтветитьI need to learn Japanese to communicate with my gf's mom and on top of that she has family living in Japan. I'm probably going there with her at some point in my life
ОтветитьAs someone who's first language was polish im used to words changing depending on context
ОтветитьDon’t worry! I was already using Japanese when I was a baby and forced to learn it since my moms Japanese and now I’m fluent 🥲🥲 本当に難しいんだよ!٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶
ОтветитьI learn Japanese to watch anime without subtitles 🗿
ОтветитьWell, try German. 😂
ОтветитьThere’s a whole lot of elitists who can’t take a damn joke up in here, I see. Okay, been here almost 20 years and yeah, I will admit, I am not the type to break out the text books and buckle my ass down and study. It’s not me, it’s never been who I am. Now that we got that out of the way…I also didn’t come over here on a student visa. I came over here on a work visa meaning I didn’t have the time and privilege of spending hours a day in a classroom studying. I was working teaching English, meaning I was not immersed in Japanese: I was immersed in my own native language. A lot of the time when you come over here they will actually FORBID YOU from speaking Japanese in the classroom around your students so forget that language exchange you think you’re going to have or that cultural heart to heart. It won’t happen. And yes, if you are working in an actual school? A Japanese teacher will be there ready to bust your ass if you slip up. If it’s a conversational school? You’ll be working like a slave and your manager is your slave driver, welcome to your own personal hell. You aren’t going to care. Your spirit will be so beaten down, all you will want to do is grab the cheapest booze from the convenience store on the way home from work and get drunk as your crawl back to your apartment every night and get drunk, pass out, and pray for the weekend, lol. You won’t have the money for lessons, or the time. But it’s a nice thought.
Believe me, it’s what I came over expecting to do, too. My goal was to pass the JLPT N2 or N1, in a few years, and either become a translator, or maybe even become a bilingual seiyuu/voice actor for those of you that don’t know the term “seiyuu”. HA! I crack up at my cute little dreams of 23 year old me, now, fresh out of college, all twinkly eyed. If that is truly your goal, y’all? Start in college. Start taking Japanese at the college level. Start then, start taking it SERIOUSLY, with a professor at your college and really buckling your ass down then. Do a language exchange if you can, studying IN Japan while in college. Maybe even check out one of the colleges that has a program where you can actually come over here AND study here. I know they exist. There are even full on schools that teach you nothing BUT Japanese here and you can do programs here that prepare you to pass the JLPT. They are expensive but they have dorms and the whole package. Work on your country and come over here on a student visa and do that. Japan is pretty fair and will let you work part time jobs even on a student visa up to a certain amount per month to help support yourself while you are here, too, so you can even get that language experience, while you study. But it is NOT an easy language, y’all, this poster is right. I’m just speaking from experience here, so chill with y’all’s elitist BS attitudes.
Yep im giving up learning japanese
ОтветитьONE PIECE
ОтветитьI'm still gonna learn it
Ответитьhow dare you it helps you for every thing
ОтветитьIt a bit like English in the USA all phrase, accent and tones vary from state to state and then each town within the state.
ОтветитьNo, formaility in japanese isn’t that hard. Thats what hes talking about, and no its not even close to being that hard.
Plenty of people learn japanese, but not how to be super formal and they can still speak the language just fine even if they couldn't get hired at a corporate office with their japanese.
I hate when people complain about facets of a language they don’t understand super well and acting like they make it the most difficult thing in the world for everyone else.
still doing it
Ответить"One piece"
ОтветитьDon't tell me what to not do 😝😁
ОтветитьBro, i played dark souls. Try me
ОтветитьI really love japanese and im not gonna quit. i dont like japanese for anime . I love their ppl and culture . I wanna get the best experience when im talking to them.
Ответитьthe japanese language is just perfect! kinda like a russian accent
ОтветитьIm not here to say “I love the culture and language” because I feel personally attached by your anime waifu comment. I am a woman and I still believe Gintoki exists 😅
ОтветитьTry Cambodia or khmer language
ОтветитьBruh i have only been learning constantly for about 1 year and I am really not that bad it doesn't take as much effort as this guy is saying
ОтветитьThe NUMBER ONE RULE when going to japan is
MAKE SURE YOU KNOW JAPANESE AND THE JAPANESE CULTURE
some people go to japan, only knowing the words kon'nichiwa, and sayonara, and knowing nothing about Japanese culture and history
Fansubber
ОтветитьIt was easy, oh wait im already japanese lol
ОтветитьWho cares if you learn somebody else’s language lol
Me when I see somebody speak Spanish : 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬
Hardcore gatekeeping. "I am glad I did it but god forbid you do it because it's hard!" Idiot, no need to point out the obvious. All languages(even dutch) are difficult to learn, but nah let's say it takes ten years(cap or he actually is an idiot) and also let's over generalize the audience. GTFO of here doofus
Ответитьthe one pieeeece
Ответитьis there´s 3 things i´m made of, those are: flesh, bones, AND SHEER FKING WILL
ОтветитьWait no anime fan learn Japanese to find a waifu it just and culture and other things not all weebs are degenerates
Ответить食パン+雪見大福の組み合わせ天才すぎる。やってみようかな
Ответитьꪗꪮꪊ కꪊꪹꫀ
ОтветитьI feel like that's not really true, you just have to go into it with the right expectations. I'm nowhere near close to knowing Japanese - but I'm enjoying the journey. Leaning languages is fun, and i feel like you should go into every language with the mindset of wanting to have fun, and taking your time instead of treating it like a chore you need to do to reach your goal.
Ответитьwhat is the white stuff on the toast?
ОтветитьI'm only learning Japanese to talk to my bff. Because no will understand us at the school😅
Ответитьone piece one piece is real
Ответитьdude really self-reported about not being nihongo jouzu
ОтветитьI tried to pronounce the Japanese signs when i visited Tokyo as a Malaysian it was okay but its gone a bit harder but i got used to it
ОтветитьBro.. I don't want a waifu💀💀
ОтветитьTerrible video
Ответить俺はほしを日本語ができます
ОтветитьI learn Japanese so I won’t fuck up the name of the food, thank you very much.
Ответитьdid you just toast shuucream??!?!?!?!?
ОтветитьThat just learning language in general, i mean, i learn English for near 10 years but still suck at grammar and pronunciation but i still gonna continue learning cause It gave me so much adventages. I hope the same with japanese.
And honestly, to me compared to English Japanese is slightly easier.
Don't give up on learning people. Especially languages cause you can find various knowledge that you can only access in a certain language.
(Like japanese for example, japanese people are crazy good at illustration and animation and it's definitely a good idea to learn from them but the sources are usually in Japanese)
You almost talk like Chills.
ОтветитьI mean, yeah, dialects are a thing in every language. Imagine learning proper English as a Japanese person, asking for something, and getting met with slang, southern drawl, or one of the other dozens of different manners of speaking across the English-speaking world.
People started using the word "tea" to mean "drama" and it took me a full year to understand what the fuck people were saying. I'm 22 lol
The reason it may seem so severe for Japan is because they didn't have a centralized language until the late 1800s/early 1900s (iirc).
I just wanna be able to play the games that never got official translations or read light novels and manga early. Not looking for a waifu, just enjoy the culture and entertainment.
To be honest, my listening skills in Japanese are decent, I'm socially awkward even when speaking English so no amount of study will necessarily fix that, though it's not like speaking skill does much when reading books. But Kanji is a pain. It's the wall between me and books.
This guy saying it’s absolutely no hope for us!😭😤
