What Exactly Is Halal?

I’m an atheist, and I didn’t realize that this was one of the most eye opening videos I’ve watched. I’ve had Muslim friends, and now I understand. It’s a beautiful, beautiful religion.

I'm a Christian. We pray & follow normal routine before slaughtering. I would like this preacher to come out & condemn Islamic terrorists, & strict Islamic countries to stop beheading, cutting off hands of innocent or accused person. Life of human beings are more precious 😢 peace!!

If animals were able to speak they wouldn't agree with it😅halal or not halal, if one feel that concerned about it feeling pain/tortured i think there is always a choice to turn vegetarian

Out of curiosity, when they say that they cut open the jugular, are they referring to the blood vessels alone or are they referring to the jugular region? (As in the whole neck is sliced). The reason i ask is because if the vasculature itself is sliced then the animal will still be in pain as pain is transmitted via the nervous system. If he refers to the jugular as both the vein and the CNS via the cervical spine then that would make sense as you are severing the nervous system aswell which would make it with no pain thus more humane.

If Killing without purpose is sin, then why is our purpose eating meat? If eating is the purpose then why can't it be changed so the creature made by Allah stays safe and lives the life it deserves ?
Is Our craving for taste is so important that we have to kill Allah's creation?
If vegetables can be eaten without killing the plant i.e. only the fruit part of the plant then what is the purpose of killing, is it just taste and selfishness?

Why would you choose to cut a throat when you could instead live a happy life as a vegan? It is so unnecessary to kill an innocent chicken or cow. Humane slaughter does not exist. Stop lying to yourself! Would you change the position with the animal that is killed halal? God allows it to treat animals in a kind way. Go vegan!
