How Amazon Paid $0 Federal Income Tax in 2018

What do you think of the corporate tax rate in America? Should it be higher? Lower?

It’s called lobbying. Govt should be banned from any corporate donations. The biggest thing is “transfer pricing” aka shifting profits to other countries with low to zero tax rates. Ordinary people don’t know that congress passed laws whereby the IRS cannot hire/contract outside law firms/audit firms. As a result the IRS doesn’t have any power to go after the 1% making all this money. Imagine the big law firms going after you you’ll be scared which the big tech companies were so they lobbied for this.

Honestly it’s just life. If I was in their shoes I would do the same thing. At the end of the day these corporations and rich executives/politicians in all countries rubs each others backs.

Imagine that. I work myself to death, have no benefits, no resources, and my taxes return is mia after a month and a half. But the mega billionaire, no taxes at all.

The Congress legislates, creates and make all the Laws and Tax Codes. The Rich have high powered Lawyers and Accountants who fights the IRS for them. Secondly if Politicians stop asking the Rich for their Campaign Contribution by the Millions then maybe just maybe the Rich can afford to pay their taxes. The Big Corporations and Lobbyists are paying most of elections expenses.
