ОтветитьHow many of those were Built-in 1967 I am puzzled how many of those were Built-in 1967 in the super sport impala from 67 with the big block 396 and 427 how many are still in existence
ОтветитьBeautiful car. Here's a bit of trivia about this car. Some people don't know that it's not an "Impala", although it is tempting to call it one, since it is the same body. But the name "Impala" does not appear on this car anywhere. The correct name of the car is just a Chevrolet SS 427. It was option code Z24. It is different from an Impala in that it has different fender ornaments, a domed hood with center chrome ornament with fake tri-power grilles, special SS427 grille and trunklid ornaments. Unlike an Impala or Impala SS, it has no Impala or Impala SS emblems. There is one "slip-up" from the factory though. The rear speaker grille that's in the middle of the upper rear seat cushion does have the little Impala deer logo on the speaker grille emblem. But still not the Impala nameplate 🙂.
