How to Remove EFI Boot Entries in Windows

Thank you so much ❤️ I had like 5 windows installations from all the years and like 3 Linux versions and all of them are history to me. None of them exist on the hard drive at all and was sick of all the prompts. Windows kept crashing on boot. All is well now!

I need to use both OS as dual boot with Linux Mint and Windows 10,
I have the same problem and deleted duplicate entries of Linux at boot manager
And I have used type of methods

method 1
select partition and volume with assign letter and delete,

method 2
deleting from firmware by id,

method 3
Using Visual BCD editor

but it has appeared on the boot manager of Windows every time I restart Windows 10.
So those are useless.

I am doing this to remove my ubuntu efi. It is successful in the cmd. But it is still available when I restart the PC.

bcdedit /enum firmware
bcdedit /delete

It keeps coming back but when I do it it says a unknown device was spiffed and it disappears from the list and I restart boom it’s back this is why Linux is bad

I did a nice cleanup of my redundant UEFI boot entries. Thank you. This is all very risky, just make sure you know what you are doing people.

How about it still appear on bios boot manager ? Im trying to delete it from bios boot manager , it says succed but everytime i enter the bios, the option still there.

Didn't work. "The parameter is incorrect." Neither did efibootmgr in Linux (dual boot system). HP Compaq 8200 Elite SFF, just trying to enjoy life some more without seeing three previous operating systems.

just use bcdedit.exe /delete {current} and you can speed up your pc

When i type bcdedit /enum firmware it says "The boot configuration data store could not be opened. Access is denied." what should i do? I know my account on my pc is adminstrator so i dont know why it says acces denied...

In my case i must assign letter to partition and get to boot directory then i remove file grubx64.efi typing del grubx64.efi so that solution doesnt work always.
