Blaster Master Zero - (ENG) Longplay

Funny thing is I bought this game around when it came out (had a lot of Nintendo points from when I first bought my Switch and it looked cool.) Recently beat it and didn't know there were so many story beats because I played exclusively as Shovel Knight lol

I played the original on NES back when i was a toddler and my mom used to play the original as i watched her play this game along with original Ninja Gaiden and Magic of Scheherazade on the NES. So many memories....Im gonna have to get this game on my PS4. Magic of Scheherazade should be next on the list to be remade on newer consoles. This is just great!

Its like a combination of a few old school NES games of the time such as Metroid, Galaga, and a few others that I cant name at the top of my head. They need to make games more like this. Not everything has to be like CoD or Overwatch, or games that have ginormous graphics and gameplay. It can be just simple and easy and still enjoyable. Nintendo is still king when it comes to these types of games and part of why they're still battling on their own two feet against Sony and Microsoft in the Console Wars and they've been the longest standing contender in this war.

I can't believe I missed this when it dropped. I just bought all three of them on my Series X and I'm playing them in order. I remember beating the first one on the NES when it was new. Question, it appears this version points me to everywhere I need to go...is that the case? I mean besides the optional knock out walls for extra life?

I'd like to get this for Steam but no money currently :(

I never knew this existed and stumbled on it tonight. I played the original back in the 80s growing up, then the ROM of it, and now I NEED to play this! Loved hearing you shoot with the music beats too, LOL, I thought only I did stuff like that while playing games, LOL

Ever played Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards (what is to Paper Mario is what Fester's Quest is to Blaster Master)? The final boss is so similar! HAL Laboratories + former CAPCOM = (Int)ell(i)gent (CreateS)ystems.

I like to think that the 3 in Sophia's name is actually referring to what rank of strength she is, so when the parents heard that the mutant core was there, all stops were pulled and the strongest Sophia was sent in.

Just to clarify axcording to inticreates. The reason jason kept calling fred a mysterious creature is due to the frogs and toads having been completely extinc.

Well I played Zero 3...this is still the best Blaster Master game.

this game looks fun. the tank in the original ... I call it 'Master Blaster' lol... was really revolutionary on the NES.

I'm impressed by the way this NEW series, kept with the theme of the original 🐸hoping Blaster.







I ain't even mad that they changed how "the frog grew in size" before falling/going down a hole. 👏😎

Now the story makes a bit more of sense. A bit.

My friend had this game when I was a kid and I was sooooo envious of him.

It still has the creepy music and that damn frog again lol

I always thought that in the original NES the characters suit in the overhead stages looked like Hello Kitty.

The Jump Booster is a pointless upgrade... I say that because you NEED the Hover Pack to get it. And even if you have this, you won't be able to because you'll be able to hover by that point! Couldn't they just made an entirely different power-up instead?

way to much story. The story was not needed. Part of the charm of the original is the intro was just weird and odd about a pet frog going doing a hole he had in his back yard and found a tank. nothing more was needed. The swearing and the constant dialog ruined the game.

4 hours long. Jesus. Did anyone actually watch from start to finish??
