We have both phones. Not the right comparison. First things first: The s23 FE should only be compared to the S23+. I got the s23 because I prefer compact phones, my wife got the FE (Snapdragon version in the U.S.) because she prefers larger screens. Unlike myself, most folks want the larger form factor. In normal day-to-day use I notice little difference between the two. Pics may be a tiny bit better on the s23, but not a game-changer. I'm not familiar with the battery life on the s23+, but my wife's s23 FE gets slightly longer run time than my s23, at any rate, both go well over a day and a half. The price difference between the s23+ and the s23 FE is considerably more. The s23+ and s23 FE are the same size and design, the only obvious difference is the smaller 6.4" screen on the FE and its larger bezels vs, the s23+ 6.6" screen...but the price difference clearly aims the s23 FE at buyers in a different niche. My wife had no burning desire to buy a state-of-the-art phone, yet she wanted a high-quality phone about the size of the s23+.

Im broke so S23fe is probably a good start. Hopefully i can get the s26 ultra when it launches😂

I'm using last 25 days s23fe pls don't parchese .it's a iron box

in my country there is a reasonable price gap between this phones, so i picked the s23 fe. i've switched ios to android with this device. I'm very ok with it's performance. the only thing that i may be not so greatful is the battery life. Maybe it'll change with a software update. So finally i honestly recommend the s23 fe.

Of course the S23 will be better, but if you don't need the fancy 8gen2, gorilla glass viktus, and slightly better better camera, the S23fe is a decent buy if you can catch one on sale. I bought a 256gb for just USD310.

The FE would have been a much better buy if they had gone with the 8 gen 1+ if they're dead set on selling it with last gen flagship chip. Every snapdragon chip that got fabbed at samsung in recent years is just garbage interms of thermals/efficiency namely the 888 and 8 gen 1. Not to forget the infamous exynos chips which are even worse.

S23 is clearly better in every expect even the price sometimes it could even match s23 fe price. Also s23 fe is a massive deal breaker because of badly optimise and low performance chip Snapdragon 8 gen 1 and exynos 2200. (They're both as bad).

I sold my s23 ultra because I wasn't really using the spen or any of the features and picked up the s23 fe. After a few days, I have decided that I will be returning this and buying another s23 ultra. It doesn't feel as fast. Battery life is good but i took the s23u's cameras for granted. I was thinking of just waiting for the s24 ultra, but i got the s23u for $910 canadian at samsung during the flash sale. Great price.

vanilla versions of S series have always been better than FE versions. FE are just for people who don't abuse their phones but still want some of the flagship figures. If you're not one of those kids that game, it's good enough. It's for older people tbh since A54 is kinda lacking

S22 is much better and affordable option vs s23fe

A more appropriate comparison would be between S23 FE and S22+ (since the S23 FE is basically S22 FE released a year late) but even then, the S23 FE would still be a tough sell over the S22+.

I bought the 256gb model of the S23 FE for 370 usd, with that much of a price gap with the vanilla S23 (which usally sits around 600usd for the 128gb model) I think it was a good buy

I feel the cameras on my S23+ has gotten worse since updating to One UI 6. I'm close to resetting the phone to see if it fixes it
