RC Gaff Pilot Cutter Sailboat, Heavy Full Keel in 18 km/h Wind and Wave

This is a heavy traditional hull form with no overhang forward. Sails can be sheeted in or loosed off but this video only shows them set at a loose beat. There is an auxiliary motor that was used occasionally in a short burst if she stalled coming about into the wind and waves. The rest of the sailing is under wind power alone.

The hatches have a 1/2 " combing and scuppers cleared the water on deck instantly. After a 1 hour sail there wasn't a drop of water below. The full keel picked up no weed.
