ОтветитьAnd why isn't this an interlude on TMA😡?
ОтветитьSublime. Heaven
ОтветитьWow so she had been working the sounds of take me apart
Ответитьrediscovering this and falling in love with kelela all over again as I've matured, crying because this interlude video brings back such nostalgia to a time before TMA released and changed the timeline of what it meant to love music for me. I appreciate her so much as a person and seeing the crowd at her show in this video makes me remember the way life felt as a young person pre-trump and pre-COVID. I feel like that queer world is gone and the possibilities used to be endless, but now its like the possibilities are just more limited. one of the few things I'm excited for now is for kelela to bless us with her art again, and relive the feeling of the first time I heard her interlude. ❤️
Ответитьshe’s so warm and caring, i aspire to be like her.
ОтветитьIm infected with it too, I miss the feeling of being surrounded by good friends and their energy
ОтветитьKelela if you see this, we’re here when you come back ❤️ Live your life mama
ОтветитьI miss going out in la like this
ОтветитьEveryone the journey is complete. I have finally found the song thanks to Richard Kelly. Jupiter...it was Jupiter all along. Alright imma head out.
ОтветитьI need the second song...
Ответитьso...i'm back again...and still no answer...no one wants to bless me?
ОтветитьFirst 2 minutes Is fire
Ответить"I'm calling your bluff
There's no way that you really leavin'
One word, and you on the defense
I'm calling because
You already taken a beating
And all that you need is
Just a bit of this love"
wow
ОтветитьKelela💛
Ответить"It's just... my lifestyle to have difficult conversations". What a legend.
ОтветитьI really needed this today
ОтветитьFuck I love this so much
ОтветитьGod Bless Everyone Have An Blessed One Everybody Amen 🙏🏾💙💗💜💛💘💖💚💓💞
Ответитьi wish i was as beautiful as her
ОтветитьGod Bless everyone have an Blessed one everybody Amen 🙏🏾💛💜

ОтветитьSoooooo dear white people anyone 👀😭?
Ответить"I think, for me, it’s actually not fearlessness, it’s like, having fear and doing it anyway. Being scared, it’s courage, you know? I used to fixate on fearlessness though, I used to be like, so obsessed with this idea that like, um, some people are fearless and that’s how they do it. The difference between the ones who did it and the ones who didn’t do it, whatever it is, is just that those people don’t have fear, and I’m plagued with fear. That’s actually what’s going on in my head… and that’s why I didn’t pursue music. It’s like, so much more about courage. When I found out that people on the other side are scared and that they’re doing it anyway, that was the moment for me. It’s about coming from a vulnerable place."
ОтветитьKelela’s opening monologue:
I’m interested in the things that we’re all thinking but that we don’t say.
The things that are going on with everybody, that we don’t really talk about.
The things in between. The interlude.
S.O.S.'s lyrics:
I’m feeling a lot of pressure
Only you can help me out
Was tryna make it easy
Now your finger's in my mouth
So, I lay and wait
I don’t take it lightly
That you’re far away
But I need it nightly
When I’m full I take another
Never been so greedy with a lover
Will you come around
Before it’s too late?
I could touch myself, bae
But it’s not the same
If you could stop and help me out
But I’ll take it slowly
There’s no use in rushing
The more I wait, the more I build up
So, you better put it down
Down, down, down, down
Down, down, down, down
Down, down, down, down
Down, down, down, down
Kelela’s dialogue with friend:
- Friend: Would you go to basketball games in your high school and stuff?
- Kelela: I was a cheerleader in my senior year.
- Friend: Shut the fuck up! Kels was a cheerleader? How odd!
- Kelela: My senior year only, though bitch. Only.
- Kelela: They’d be like… (mimics choreography).
- Kelela: It’s that type of shit.
Kelela’s monologue:
We were just talking about this the other day.
Is that a passive friendship? We are like so actively each other’s friend, we are deliberate. We don’t not have hard conversations and it’s just my life style to have difficult conversations.
I think for me it’s actually not fearlessness. It’s like having fear but like doing it anyway. Being scared is courage, you know? I used to fixate on fearlessness, though. I used to be like so obsessed with this idea that some people are fearless and that’s how they do it. The difference between the ones who did it and the ones who didn’t’ do it, whatever it is, is just that those people don’t have fear and I’m plagued with fear. That was actually what was going on in my head for long time. And that’s why I didn’t pursue music.
It’s like so much more about courage. When I found out that people on the other side are scared and that they’re doing it anyway, that was the moment for me.
It’s about coming from a venerable place.
Going through heartbreak and still be able to fall in love.
Bluff's lyrics:
I'm calling your bluff
There's no way that you really leavin'
One word, and you on the defense
I'm calling because
You already taken a beating
And all that you need is
Just a bit of this love
There you go
Holding onto something
I'm gonna prove you wrong
I'm gonna prove you wrong
Here we go
Jumping in the deep end
I'm gonna prove you wrong
I'm gonna prove you wrong
I'm calling your bluff
I'm calling your bluff

Ответитьcan we talk about bluff only being one minute!!! I can't its so beautiful.
ОтветитьI love the fact that you were able to hold on and wait to a certain era of time like 2017 to do the stylings of music that needs to be heard because all this extra stuff on the radio is just dumb
