Honolulu is expensive. Honolulu is owned by the Japanese lol. Honolulu does not have locals, they have all moved out because they cannot afford it!!
ОтветитьShe talks makes things more complicated 😂😂😂
Ответитьgreat postproduction! This is how one should do it! ;D greetings from Czechia
ОтветитьTell them the truth, It is the underworld/hell. Sinners, heathens, egotistical flesh eaters, if you want to be saved you must stop eating flesh, cow secretions, and sinning. Eat brown rice and beans as a staple.
ОтветитьFun video.🤙🏽 Here to share my perspective as a Honolulu townie. Town is Kalihi to Kahala, mauka to makai. Downtown is strictly makai of H1, Chinatown to start of Kapiolani Blvd.
ОтветитьFamily of 5... 200k plus a year what kind of living should we expect
ОтветитьAnd then it caught on fire....
ОтветитьDown town is Punchbowl diamond head side. Makai is the ocean. Mau ka is Beritania. Ewa side is Bethel St. This is true and accurate Downtown.
ОтветитьMe gusta tus tatuajes de Las manos y Brazos , luces sexi ❤
ОтветитьNah no move here period. Spend your money and go back home. Or we might eat you!
ОтветитьI think the zip codes for the areas is incorrect
ОтветитьPunchbowl where Roosevelt High... Ruff Ryda
ОтветитьI hope Honolulu is the stage for my super celebrity dreams. Trust in that too! Safe travels! ⚜️✨🤴🏻
ОтветитьDo you know "D R I P"?
ОтветитьShe's sexy af
ОтветитьHawaii looks wonderful but unfortunately it looks like just another extension of the US: ugly urban landscaping, high costs for everything, and real estate agents trying to sell sell sell. I wonder how nice it was before Hawaii became a state. A time before insurance companies.
ОтветитьThe biggest problem with Honolulu in my opinion as a resident is, it’s a big city but people move too slow for a city this size. It needs to pick up the pace. Don’t get me wrong, I love Hawaii and it’s culture, but slow people in an infrastructure as congested as San Francisco, makes for a frustrating place to get anything done. Who needs to pick up the pace the most is the city and county workers who act like it’s still the 80’s here. Honolulu needs to take notes from Singapore. Night construction only.
Ответитьi was born and raised in hawai'i, specially the west side.. ive considered buying a condo in honolulu!
ОтветитьI love living Hawaii Kai, Kahala, Kaimuki, Kahala... the east side of town is so nice for me for travel, get out of town fast. One of my favorite buildings is actually Waikiki Banyan. The location is just perfect for me. I wish I could live windward, but it's hard to find a place that we can have our dog. I ended up buying Big Island for the space, but we have our boat in town (La Mariana). I've been off island for work for too long. I can't wait to get back home, and your videos really help with the homesickness, so mahalo nui!
ОтветитьOnce you get on King or Kapiolani. That’s where DT ends.
ОтветитьGreat stuff. Love the videos. I feel acclimated into the islands already and not even there yet, lol.
ОтветитьThese videos are so awesome, I'm always looking for this info and just keep landing on tourists recycling a wikipedia entry. Thanks guys!
ОтветитьThank you for this video! My family could be moving to the area for work soon. I’m from Philadelphia so it’s a big move and I’m use to walking so I definitely needed to get an idea of where to move.
ОтветитьI think a lot of retirees do not look at quick access to a major hospital. If you get a heart attack on maui or Kauai good luck. You’ll be dead by the time your flown into honolulu. 😮
ОтветитьMauka, Makai, Diamond Head and Ewa is the best way to express directions on an island. Your orientation will be different depending on where your starting point is. But if you know where the mountain and ocean are in approximation to where you are, you’ll never get confused. “Town” is residential, shopping, schools, condos, businesses on the Ala Moana side of the island. Salt Lake to Hawaii Kai, loosely. When my relatives in Kailua say they’re coming into town, it could be Makiki, Downtown business district, Waikiki etc. So long as they cross over the Pali tunnel or H-3, they’re coming into “town.” Just discovered your channel. It’s great, succinct and filled with useful information. Keep up the great work!
ОтветитьJust here as a tourist and this video is really fascinating! I will be coming back in December, so you guys got a subscriber. I will be checking out the others videos in your channel
ОтветитьI’m born and raised in palolo valley housing. Lived in makiki apartments next to the freeway by the mural, papakolea, maili, waipio, kapolei, Waikiki, wahiawa, mililani, kalihi, salt lake. Island life will get to u eventually. The prices, crime, personality change in friends/family, drugs, etc... miss Oahu but had to chance the mainland life
ОтветитьBut u make money ah?
ОтветитьYou guys need to realize that you sell out! Period
ОтветитьHawaii is California on an island..but worse
Ответить❤️❤️❤️
ОтветитьAnything with too much pavement scares me.
ОтветитьHello! Is it free consultation when doing virtual? Thank you! Moving there by Feb 2023
ОтветитьGrowing up in the Laie/Kahuku area, Town is anything from Kaneohe to Mililani. North of that is Country.
ОтветитьOh no. Downtown is Aala Park to Ward Ave. It has China Town, Fort Street, Iolani Palace, the Capitol, and the HPD HQ... and most of the homeless. Town is between Ward and Diamond Head haha.
ОтветитьI live in downtown Honolulu in the condo wats crazy I have to pay to park but lol good thing I can walk across the street to jack in the box lol but I have a good view of the ocean
ОтветитьI hate Honolulu, every time I walk through waikiki all the honless make it extremely dangerous to walk by there’s often feces and the whole walk smells like piss.and of course the Hawaiian government can’t use all the millions they get from tourism to address this issue
ОтветитьWouldn't downtown be considered the span between Chinatown and the State Capital area? That was always my impression growing up in Kailua/Mililani... I now live by Ala Moana, which I think a mainlander would refer to as the metropolitan area of the city...
ОтветитьI'm from Upstate NY and when we say down town we mean Like the part of the city where all the business buildings are like where King and Bishop meet. It's usually where places like the courts, stated building and all the tall business buildings are.
ОтветитьHi Mahe, thanks for another great video. I like your bead bracelets. Are they Hawaiian? Koa? Could you please link to where you bought them? Thank you! :)
ОтветитьI miss Hawaii so much . Lived in town for 10 years
ОтветитьI grew up in Ewa and always dreamed of living at Ward. We now live right by Ward theater and I'm so happy we worked hard and pulled through.
ОтветитьLa la la loser
ОтветитьI feel like Hawaii is the type of place where 'we're just vacationing here for a bit' is better than 'we live here permanently'.
ОтветитьHorrible mess.
ОтветитьIt’s very dangerous to advertise our islands for haoles to move here and steal more lands
ОтветитьStop moving to Hawaii . These are stolen lands not USA. Gtfoh
Ответить
