Poor reflex and is extremely slow to attack. I wonder why these praying mantis managed to kill innocent birds even when they are trying to feed for survival. I’m not too impressed. At least the lantern fly is feisty like a flea.

Mantis: What in the world?

Mantises are so cool. I actually had a pair at one of my houses they were there for like a week.

That was cool and all but can anyone tell me why they are up on a roof playing with bugs. Like was he already up there or did he see the mantis and get an idea?

First one I’ve ever seen in New York, was 18 years ago when I was a kid.. it was in the middle of my street, been Run over by a car I think... since then, I’ve only seen about 10- 15 TOPS..
usually just throw them a cricket
And they snatch it up right away !! they’re awesome .

But they things.. I started off only hearing about these from a guy at work when he seen one of them outside..
(First Ive heard about them..)

3 weeks later.. in NY..
I’ve seen over 300.. (I am the type of person to relocate spiders and insects rather than squash em)
But I’ve murdered 🥾 50 😳 😶.… 🥶
Some of the Stray Cats who live in the building i work in have taken out 7 so far.. I recorded them taken one out in our shop! 😂)
