you need to update this video because they no longer have the "initiate full repair" in the general tab, its located in the settings on the riot client, but wont work unless it actually has actually discovered an error on its own this dont delete your files unless u want to uninstall the game and reinstall

I don't know if you are still checking comments but I tried this and it did not work. I have had this error for a few days now and have tried everything from the hextech repair tool to redownloading the game 5 times and wiping the hardrive I had the game on. Despite all this its still giving me this error whenever I try to get into a game plz help

Interesting, so lots of people have this problem (Philippines server) I wasn't sure if it was Garena or LoL itself that was having problems.

For those who use Garena same process but this time use the Garena folder, you should be able to find the League Client folder if you snoop around a bit more.

Hi everyone watching in 2021.
What worked for me is stopping my antivirus (avast in my case) after which a fix download started on my lol luncher. This might be the case for many of us.

Hello there, for those who had the issue this evening and have avast as your firewall, just update it and restart your pc, this will fix the problem. All of my riot games didn't start now they do.

Guys if you shut down league from task manager and turn of whichever firewall you have, you can open up the client again and it will start a repair process and you can play again.

It worked!!I did this while also uninstalling my antivirus program so not sure whether it's one or both that got it fixed. Get the hextech repair tool and try to see if that helps if this doesn't
