A secondhand account from an eye witness? Thats actually a very good source from that time period. A lot of the prior (and future) historians were relying on mishmashes of things from different accounts and sources often times hundreds of years after the events they were describing occurred.

Kinda surprised you spent this video trashing her. Maybe you had bad sources? Couple things you missed:

1. Arranging the wagons behind your army was a common celtic and germanic tactic. It meant your army couldn't be attacked from behind, couldn't run away and it gave somewhere for the women to hang out and tend to the wounded/execute cowards. They were also expected to sudoku if the enemy reached the wagons.

2. Failing to plant a harvest was also likely a deliberate tactic. Victory of death. Either they took their enemies supplies and had nothing to worry about, or they had lost and were boned anyhow.

3. I'm amazed you didn't mention what had just happened on Mon before Boudica's revolt. The druids all lined up on the opposite side of the Menai cursing the Romans, then the Romans sent Germanic cavalry across to murder them. The Germans did so and then the line of priestesses behind the druids threw their torches and lit the dead druids (who had been soaked in oil) on fire. It wasn't a slaughter, it was a sacrifice, and the Romans had been unwittingly involved in cursing themselves. Boudica's uprising WAS the curse and even though they won the devastation was so widespread that it wasn't clear whether the Romans were going to be able to remain in Britain or just cut their losses and fuck off.

Boudicca was pretty bad ass. An actual hardcore boss bitch.

I always consider levelling her in Fate/Grand order when I see her. She deserves it.. just that her special ability is quite dull. Real life boudica deserved a better fate though, same with the daughters. They asked for vengeance and should've gotten far more of it to boot. At least the Britons got the new guy that played good cop after this but, I do wonder how things would've gone if they had won.
Unfortunately I don't think it'd end at pushing the romans out of Britain and they eventually would push too far and get wiped out regardless but... even so. I do wonder. What if they had won, and then worked on rebuilding Britain as it was rather than getting occupied by romans. It was a justified vengeance so, I find it hard not to root for their side even if some of the actions against non-combatants were a bit too brutal.
