How to Show Items with No Data in Power BI (e.g. Show All Month Names)

HI AVI YOUR VIDEO'S HAVE BEEN ALWAYS VERY HELPFUL .
I DO HAVE A QUESTION ABOUT THIS ONE.

So I did learn how to show all months Names that have no data but what I want to achieve a Matrix visual where i have data for all the months but I want to show only the data for the months that are active or past not the future like for this year I want the matrix visual to show Jan, feb and march data but hide April to December value and i want to keep the Column Header as it is.

In 2022, the "Show items with no data" has stop working, I have tested nearly 20 graphs with 7 slicers. Not sure is a bug.

That button doesn't do literally anything to my bar chart.

I have created a DB overview design to show the project status. which includes count of rejected projects. Yet in my current data set there's no such status under project status column.
However I created a card to show the rejected project using advanced filter so that when i replace new dataset which may have rejected project will automatically show in that card.
Currently is shows as Blank. can i replace to zero in this kind of scenarios?

I have such case , i have matrix visual and if i do same i work work but when i filter with product name its not showing all dates?

How to show for only six months?

what if I want to show " NA " for the data which is not available? like in JAN if there is no data then I dont want to show blank but want to show "NA" . Is it possible? Looking forward to hear from you.

Hi Avi, what is you're using a year & month? Is there a way to make the slicer / filter on the page (say I only want last 12-24 months) to still apply, but show items with missing data in between?

Hi Avi - Can the same be done on Slicers? If I have month slicer and let's say for some customers I don't have monthly data, will I be able to see all months in slicers for the selected customer?

Hi, Referring your clip Show rows with no data - Power BI Tips & Tricks #33, which is very useful. I have one query on this.

if both the table is having many-to-many relationship and want to display the data in two different matrix visuals. Normally, if I click on visual-A (from table-1) then it will filter the respective values in visual-B (table-2) and display the matching content instead of all including no value parameters from table-2 in visual-B

Please advice what need to be done to see the values of table-2 in visual-B even if its not matching with table-1 and have no value, considering the above model

Hi Avi, Could you convert all these into a measure instead of selecting manually?

But if the data in available for multiple years and we need to project the data for last 12 months only, the selection of "Show Items with No Data" is not the solution.

That feature is nice, but only a start. I'd like to show no data as zero, so I can tell Power BI to calculate the values in the visual as a percentage of the grand total. Which for now is a combination that Power BI doesn't like (yellow warning sign). Excel gives you both options: show empty cells as "nothing" or as zero.

I have a question about power bi, the area Axis, i have state, stratum (urban and rural), number employed and year (4 years). using clustered bar chart, so why when I add a year it calculated all years and display me, since I want to display every state with stratum and number of employed and with year.
