This episode definitely was the one that sold me on Bakugo when i first watched it !
ОтветитьWhat are they on about? Why not give MVP to Ochaco, just because she didn't win? She definitely deserved it this episode
ОтветитьLOVE THIS EPISODE SO MUCH
Uraraka putting up an awesome fight, Bakugo giving her the respect she deserves, the phone call that will ALWAYS make me cry....
there's so many subtle character hints that people miss, and I'm so glad you both pick up on those things. they make the story so full, and makes us appreciate it more too :D
ОтветитьOh man, the next episode.... :)<
Ответитьround face is nasty work 🤣🤣
ОтветитьBro, Carlie is Uraraka IRL, goddamn gurl xd
ОтветитьNice I like someone actually caught on Bakugou's shaking hand and saying "That was close" was because he was pushed so close to his limit.
ОтветитьCarlie: I ship Bakugo and Uraraka*
Me: NOOOO! That's heresy!
😂
"Endeavor to be a better person." Loved that line, Carlie. 💙
Ответитьsending the big hype energy yalls way!~ loving the reactions and seeing the story unfold with yall!~
ОтветитьI think you should react to dota dragons blood so everyone please get this comment noticed
ОтветитьIF Y'ALL DON'T UPLOAD THE NEXT EPISODE TOMORROW😭😭
Ответить"Doesn't matter she a hero" 🤓
Baguko is my fav character
This episode made me love bakugou even more dawg. Despite Uraraka being a girl and everyone underestimating her, he doesn’t gaf and goes just as hard and doesn’t go easy on her bc he believes she’s strong and earned her place there against him. He was fully ready to fight her and not let up despite everyone else thinking she was a “frail girl”
Also mineta straight up asking if he was gay bro “bakugou don’t tell me your taste runs in that direction” like bro even MINETA could tell😭🙏🙏
Carlie coming in strong with battle predictions!! Also the Inko-Carlie comparison after the tissue call out was a bit too perfect
ОтветитьAyy props for you catching Bakugo calling Uraraka by her name after he got hurt!
Ответитьnow that season 7 is almost concluding, I'm in for a ride watching your guys reactions!🫡
Ответитьcarlie is on to things this episode 👏🏻 and talking about shipping, the bakugo x uraraka search on google did skyrocket when this episode premiered lol
Ответитьregarding the hero of the episode part, it doesnt have to be someone that won a fight, it can just be someone that did something cool, or that stands out
ОтветитьUraraka (along with Kirishima) is one of the only people who Bakugo doesn't call by a degrading nickname, even now in the latest season
Wait I'm noticing now that some comments are over a month old. How far ahead are they?
Anyway, Monoma analyzing the battle cemented him in my top 5 favourites back when I watched it for the first time, I already liked him then, and he only got better for me despite the low screentime
I've loved bakugou since the very start, considering I really like characters that are loud and go boom. But this was the episode that I've decided he's my favorite anime character. Ever.
ОтветитьALSO I LOVE YOU CARLIE. MY KACCHAKO HEART BLOOMED WHEN YOU SAID YOU SHIPPED THEM. BASED AF.
ОтветитьI know a lot of people like this episode, but I've always found it stupid for one simple reason: They overhype the ever loving hell out of that fight. It was NEVER close, but the show pretends Bakugo didn't have a guaranteed win from the get go when he objectively did. He blew away her ultimate attack with ease. I say "with ease", because it strained, temporarily, only one arm, meaning he could do that AT LEAST one more time before being maxed out, AND that's even after throwing tons of smaller blasts throughout the fight. In other words, her BEST effort didn't even make him have to use HALF his power, that's how ridiculously one-sided it was, which is also why, A: He isn't even a little bit worried after he notices the attack coming, and B: after using that big blast, only THEN does he say he's getting serious. That wasn't him boasting, that was just true. He had not, at any point until then, been trying to win the fight. You know how I know that? Look at how absolutely wrecked she got from the PERIFERAL of the blast he used to destroy the rocks. If he had done the exact same move when the fight started, except aimed it at her face instead of the sky , he would have won IMMEDIATELY, and you CANNOT tell me he didn't know that. The man pulled punches the entire fight (which is also a weird thing because he supposedly considered her a threat, so pulling punches makes no sense.)
Even in the best case scenario, if she got close enough to touch him she can't ring him out. The man can literally fly at will (which Deku even SAYS), and her power just makes that flight even easier for him. I have no idea why the hell Deku thinks it will "give her an advantage" when it objectively wouldn't. Bakugo becomes faster and more mobile when her power is active on him, that is, quite literally, the ONLY affect it has on him from a practical standpoint. She CAN'T ring him out with her power because she can't make him touch the ground outside the ring. The ONLY thing her power does is reduce or eliminate gravity's effect on the things she touches. That's it. Her power does not do anything else. It does not make things rise into the sky indefinitely, it does not let her affect direction or momentum (without subsequently hitting or throwing the item in question in order to GIVE it said momentum.) It makes stuff lighter/floaty. That's it. Bakugo can literally counteract her making him float by aiming a blast vertically to push himself back down to the ground whenever he wants. It's not like her touching him makes him rise into the sky indefinitely until she turns her power off. That's not a thing (and again, even if it WAS, it would not help her win the fight, because he can control his flight path through the air and she can't.)
No matter how you slice it, it was impossible for her to win that fight. There are several "oh, if I can just make him float now" moments and I'm just like, honey, if you make him float NOTHING HAPPENS lol.
I have no issue with Uraraka as a hero or as a character, and I'm also not a Bakugo stan by any means, but this episode just presents the fight as if it was a big shining moment for her when in fact it was an unbelievably one-sided curbstomp that was dragged out longer than a DBZ transformation for no reason at all. This is not a Rock Lee vs Gaara. This is not a Vegeta vs Goku. This is Omniman vs Dupli-Kate. I absolutely hate the way the show pretends it was a fair fight. It wasn't.
plese react to league of legends worlds 2024 X Linkin Park, the song and video is amazing
ОтветитьEvery episode highlighting Uraraka is gold!
ОтветитьSickening!!
Ответитьcarlie killed it this episode with the observations! and starting to ship kacchako LMAO that was me too
ОтветитьReact to Naruto please ,😁
ОтветитьSuch a great episode, both for Uraraka and Bakugo.
How Uraraka fought speaks for itself, but Bakugo's interaction with her told us a lot. Like, obviously we knew that Bakugo's rough "Die! Die! Die!" attitude is a bit of a front (but also part of who he is), but we've now seen numerous times what lies below that - a calm, analytical mind, intelligence and absolutely genius combat ability - and this episode reaffirmed that.
When most people, even most classmates and pros, were looking down on Uraraka and not understanding why she acted the way she did and how much it took for her to do so, Bakugo recognised that she was not to be underestimated, that he would have to be on guard and take her seriously. He recognised how far she was able to push him and he acknowledges her skill.
Him calling her by her name at the end - which you catched wonderfully - carries a lot of significance. Bakugo tends to call most people by their defining characteristics and doesn't concern himself a whole lot with them. But when someone get acknowledged and respected by Bakugo, he recognises & calls them by their name.
Guys, when will they react to Naruto???
Ответитьyes! Bakugo finally gets MVP!
Ответитьi know you already seen it but YA’LL AINT READY
Ответитьthis is random but am i the only one want them to react to life lesson with uramichi oniisan ❤ it is really short and fun anime
ОтветитьDefinitely feel like a character shouldn't have to "win" to get MVP - even sometimes when you lose, if you make an impact to others then you can be seen as a Hero. Though it really matters how they are defeated then.
ОтветитьThe interesting thing to me in Uraraka's fight is that, at the last second when she was trying to reach Bakugo during the rock fall, she made herself float; which made Bakugo's explosion that much more detrimental to her plan.
Obviously she couldn't have predicted he'd do that, but I wonder if she would've been able to reach him if she DIDN'T make herself weightless?
Guys Monoma was calling Mic an idiot for not noticing the rocks
Ответитьmonoma was calling the pro an idiot. he said that it made sense that bakugo didnt notice cuz he is in the arena but the audience were dumb for not noticing
ОтветитьI started shipping kacchako (bakugoxuraraka) after this episode because he showed her SO MUCH respect. I just couldn't help but love their opposites attract kinda dynamic.
ОтветитьI love that unlike others Bakugo treated Uraraka as future hero. As a threat with potential of beating bad guys in the future. In real fight nobody would back down just because she is a girl. And she definitely isn't a weak one.. And Bakugo knows that.
Not every reactor gets this. It's nice to see that some do.
Watching this episode remembering what a great character Uraraka could have developed into but they made her all about crushing on Deku. Which isnt bad i ship them too. I just wish they continued this storyline of her
ОтветитьBakugo treated Uraraka as an equal and a rival.
ОтветитьKacchaco are SOOOO siblings coded further down the line lol! it's kind of like how you love your siblings and respect them overall, but they annoy the s**t out of you. Bakugou is the oldest in Class 1A and he totally gives off older brother vibes as well😆
ОтветитьI LOVE MONOMA I WILL DIE ON THIS HILL
