ABOUT MARC MARTEL & FULL-LENGTH EPISODE

Martel is a Canadian Christian rock musician best known for his remarkable vocal resemblance to Freddie Mercury, the legendary lead singer of Queen.

Martel gained widespread recognition after his audition video of Queen's "Somebody to Love" went viral in 2011, which led to his role as the lead vocalist in the official Queen tribute band, The Queen Extravaganza.

He later started his own tribute show, The Ultimate Queen Celebration, and performed with the Philharmonic Orchestra of Mexico in "Symphonic Queen" (Wikipedia) (Marc Martel) (SCENES Media).

Martel was born in Montreal, Canada, and co-founded the Christian rock band Downhere in 1999 while attending college in Saskatchewan.

The band enjoyed a successful career, winning multiple Juno Awards before disbanding in 2013 (Marc Martel) (Religion News Service).

In addition to his work with Queen tribute shows, Martel contributed vocal recordings for the 2018 biographical film "Bohemian Rhapsody," blending his voice with original Queen tracks and Rami Malek's performance as Freddie Mercury (Wikipedia) (Religion News Service). Martel continues to perform worldwide and release solo music, balancing his Christian faith with his tribute performances.
