Awesome tutorial
ОтветитьGreat video! You did a fantastic job explaining everything. Much appreciated!
ОтветитьThank you for your content.. I will be binge watching before I begin my first 4 day sailing class! It feels like learning a new language ..and maybe some math too! Lol
Ответить @You don’t have to be rich, plenty of ordinary guys own bass boats, jet skis, snowmobiles (or his & hers). For the same price you can go sailing with a 14-21 foot used, or new, sailboat
ОтветитьI feel these videos are excellent since there is no BS. no long winded speeches and I like how they are broken down into specific sailing jobs. cant wait to feel the wind take the boat for the first time. never been sailing. I am trying to learn by watching. I feel the more I understand the fundamentals the easer and less scary it will be when it comes time.
ОтветитьYou’re backing your jib as you tack you will maintain your speed better if you get your jib on the other side before it fills
ОтветитьAgree with comment on lack of subscribers, brilliant videos, I never subscribe but think you deserve it. Learnt more on here than on my rya course, going to find where you guys are for next course!
ОтветитьLove your channel! Learning to sail so I watch your channel nightly and take notes! The quality and explanations are fantastic and are really helpful!
ОтветитьWEAR GLOVES!!!!
I see so many people barehanding lines. WHY?
Nice job on the vids! And on a very nice looking boat too! 😉
Thank you for all your efforts!
one of the better explanations out there.......thank you.

ОтветитьWhen tacking, you tighten the main sheet. When do you loosen the main sheet? Is that what you meant by trimming the sail or were you referring to the jib?
ОтветитьThanks for sharing.
ОтветитьHi Tim! Great video.
ОтветитьGreat lesson. This is how it should be done.
ОтветитьYou should write about it this book with all illustration , on how to sail , wind control and all the terminology about sailing and the boat! Pls?
👍☮️💟
really quaility video, great narrator, very good demonstration
ОтветитьVery well training. Thanks guys..
ОтветитьGreat demonstration captain!
When I have very strong winds I rather do a Tack instead of Jibe. Much safer and also much faster for the inexperienced crew
More....neeeeed morrrrreee. Nautilus is awesome!
Ответить❤️
ОтветитьSo Tacking is all about the Genoa sail, and Gybing is all about the Main sail??? Correct???
ОтветитьAs someone who has been hit in the head by the boom during a gybe, and left unconscious on the cabin floor, step #2 of the gybe process is very important.
ОтветитьVery helpful. Thanks.
ОтветитьThank you. As someone brand new to sailing, this is the very best video I've found. Very appreciated.
Ответить"Ready a-bout" - "Hard a-lee"!?
ОтветитьI am learning to sail with friends, on weekends. I have done these movements several times, but now, I understand what is happening, and what is expected of me. I feel more confident about performing these movements with greater precision, thank you!
Ответитьexcellent content. thanks for sharing this!
Ответитьwhat make of sailboat is that?. I love the salon seating capacity
Ответитьçok iyi fidyo
ОтветитьLearned a bunch thanks
Ответитьshould do videos to help people that sail alone.
ОтветитьSo, in a Tack you turn the boat upwind and in a Gybe you turn downwind? Do I got that right?
ОтветитьOooo this is exactly what I was looking for. Instant subscriber. Id pay money for this stuff! Thank you!👍
ОтветитьI'm gonna have a mixed crew German and English, so bilingual screaming commands in gale force winds will be fun! Might be handy to have main and jib each in a different language to address to :D
ОтветитьGreat POV for understanding what's actually going on during the different maneuvers! Thanks for the excellent breakdown!
ОтветитьThank you very much, most informative.
ОтветитьJust watched a couple of your vids and I am extremely impressed with your teaching....I want to get back into sailing and this is so useful to me...very many thanks for such a good job.
ОтветитьExcel ant thank you
ОтветитьYou must love Jehovah your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. You must love your neighbor as yourself. Jesus the anointed is Lord! Repent and be baptized and believe the Gospel.
ОтветитьCan you tell me what model sailboat this is? Great video!
ОтветитьGreat video, thanks so much, so clear and well shown, love it
ОтветитьExcellent explanations and execution. Good job!
ОтветитьTim! Thanks for these videos. I am a musician who's about to move into a boat and learn to sail it and sail to South America and your videos are just simply the best I have seen so far. Is there a way for me to participate as a member of one of your crews?? Keep up these videos, please!!
ОтветитьGood tut. How about a reefing episode, with a traditional main and in-mast furling system? Thanks.
ОтветитьWhat kind of sail boat is this? Looks so beautiful. Excited to go back to sailing.
ОтветитьHow does this channel only have 4k subs? The production quality of these videos is insane, not to mention the actual lessons being taught!
