Great video. We are planning to visit Bucharest in May. Would 3.5 days be enough to see some of the popular sites? We are planning to also visit Bran and Pele castle on a guided 1 day tour.

you've seen 5 sq miles of downtown Bucharest and you definitely want to return to Romania LOL. I suggest to go outside the marketing bubble of the Capital and encounter the miserable roads and traffic, the kokalar and the manelle subculture of the majority of the romanians which looks more like a sub-Saharan country rather than EU. Then come back with fine impressions. PS. Do you know that Romania is the only country in the EU that is not in the US Visa Waver Program? Guess why, smarties...

I have worked with the Romanian Army, in the US and Iraq. Great guys. They taught me the most important word in Romanian: PALINKA! They were very professional and fun. I get my good pension in 2024! And intend to visit and hopefully can track down my old Romanian Army buddies. Until then, SALUTE ROMANIA! From an American in South America!
