This amazing video is going to be my Reference work. I'm grateful 🙏🙏🙏
ОтветитьReally helpful, Davood. I will show this to my own students.
ОтветитьVery nice video. I love that there's actually a book called "Learn to Write Badly". As a life sciences grad student myself, I can attest that it's not just a social sciences problem...
ОтветитьVery useful tips for new students.
ОтветитьI like to print out my papers, and then often plaster the sides of it with question marks whenever I am confused about a sentence or don’t understand something. A general tip that doesn’t cost anything is also to read the last summary section right after the abstract or introduction. I also do summaries, and my strategy is generally to first write down all chapter section titles and then put my notes in the corresponding section block. I also like to write down a question that I hope to get answered in the article before I jump into it. Two years ago, I made this video "Answer 160 questions about your thesis"
ОтветитьI really liked this video and it is very helpful for me as phd student. I also liked the way you understand science considering the need of reading boundary fields. I sometimes think that this interdisciplinary, transdisciplinary approach is very important to create a wide vision about a topic. But sometimes, I see myself a little bit lost when I started to read things that I like but is not close to my PhD thesis. I feel like my head is a big messy!
Thank you very much for this video!
