We lived in Tucson 8 years and never took a trip to Tubac. It's definitely on the list now for our upcoming trip. Great video!
ОтветитьArizona has so many hidden gems!! Great job capturing the charm of this one in your video!
ОтветитьIts Tubac 😂😂😂 I live right behind the flying Leap.
ОтветитьMy comment is that it is pronounced "Two-back". My folks lived there for 25 years and it's one of the nicest small towns you could ever visit or live in. Nice video, Meg. Keep up the great work!
ОтветитьTubac is pronounced Too-bawk. Originally Cuwak which mean “place of dark water”
Tumacácori is pronounce Tuma-caw-cori
It’s sad that you missed the Presidio Tubac which was founded in 1752. A Presidio is a Spanish outpost or fort and AZ had three of them, Tubac, Tucson and Santa Cruz de Terrenate. It is Arizona’s FIRST state park and is a State historical park. It has an underground archealogy exhibit showing the history of Tubac by layers and layers of artifacts. It show also the oldest printing press in Arizona as well.
