ALBUM REACTION : Folklore - Taylor Swift

OH MY GOOOODDDD... We have just realised the whole album is about the painful process of losing her Albums and the relationship with Scott (her record label) and the betrayal she felt went he sold her albums .... it's about the music, the fans and him (the love triangle)...but written like folklore... stories....with the underlying message of how she feels experiencing this.

“Am I the only one who doesn’t like their reaction to Taylor Swift’s albums? It seems like they’re always trying to figure out who each song is about. For example, in ‘Illicit Affair,’ they say it’s about Joe like wtf? That song is about being side cheek!

Okay this is what this album is really about, based on the song lyrics. And we know this, because Taylor herself said the song Cardigan was about Matty Healy. So it appears that she and Joe broke up for a short time after Lover came out. There seemed to be some communication issues. Taylor was apparently really upset about it. And she got back with Mattie Healy during this time, who comforted her. This must have taken place during the month of August. Joe was jealous watching them together. However perhaps she had issues with Matty, also I believe he was also dating somebody else around that time. And then Joe reached out to her at one of her parties, and she and Joe got back together. So this album that everybody loves, is really about the guy everyone seems to love to hate, ironically.

I love coming back to this video. Hearing you say things like “oh my God the next Taylor album is in two years.” Or “random man named aaron we dont know who he is” so much has happened since then. Lol. Love your channel and this video

I think cardigan is the perspective of the girl who was cheated on. The song talks about not using your young age as an excuse to hurt someone. Because the betty song is about that, he's been saying he's only 17 thats why he did what he did.
