The Glock 19 can house any modern red dot, which keep getting better, and it can use a Glock factory 33 round mag. And it’s only a few ounces more than most of these micro compact pistols.

Micro, and subcompacts, are DIFFICULT to shoot, period... lower capacity, high recoil - whatever... something so critical, could mean life or death the safety and operation of your CC weapon and what's going on - the manufacturers are throwing all caution into the wind pushing out products quickly without the proper attention to detail and vet the weapons properly before bringing to market - it's called G R E E D

So SIG is schooling their CS people with all the BS excuses to get you to give up and go away ...🙄🙄🙄🖕🖕. Sig is the Microsoft and Walmart of gun manufacturers, they hired a bean counter many years ago to save the company and I guess that mentality has caught fire and never been extinguished... P320 with all the issues still got the Government contract - ask yourself why ... payoffs, greed, and corruption within the selection process due to $$$

Fell asleep but still agree. Not going to shoot much regardless, few times a year, so ammo price is no problem. I'm having a hard time choosing between the standard 19 and 21. I just want one for all, carrying, home defense.

I am a state certified firearms instructor. I am also a Certified Master Armourer.
I own 77 weapons including all those you have mentioned and most major mfg… multiples of sone of the same.
The micro guns have their place. I agree with you in that the micros are not the best edc in any brand because of a host of reasons.
They are a great back up.
I am not a Glock fan boy nor am I a Glock hater. Glock produces an excellent weapon for durability. I think there are better options for ergonomics, sights, triggers, that are just as reliable that shoot as well or better and are just as durable Ie CZ. IMHO.
I have seen a front sight fly iff a Glock 19 just this week during a marksmanship class.
Last week a Glock 19 was double feeding and the slide was failing to to fill into battery.
I have 1500 round through sig 365. 1050 through sig 375 xl… zero malfunctions.
750 through glock 43, 3000 no malfunctions. through glock 45 1 stove pipe, ( I attribute that to me). 7000 rounds through Cz p10 c no malfunctions. At the end of the day I think it’s a matter of what a person learns to shoot plus anatomy s and training. Add to that appropriate mission for the platform. Glock doesn’t change much. They have a solid platform. Other brands innovate and with that there is bound to be an occasional issue along the way. If their are issues and the issue is resigned… no problem. I b would highly recommend any weapon be fired a minimum of 300 rounds if not 500 before someone decides to carry it or depend on it to save their life even on the old tried and true lived platforms. Anything can happen on a mfg line. I also highly suggest cleaning a weapon after every use no matter what platform.

Issue is some are made here not in Austria. Quality here is dubious

I didn't want to like Glock, but when I went after my CA CCW around 2014 there was a shortage, and I had to have something to put on my permit. All I could find in stock was a Glock 27 which I was lucky to get. I fell in love with it, and still do after purchasing several others like the M&P Shields, Bersa Thunder, and LCP Max. I live in a state now where there's no stupid roster but would never consider parting with my Glock.

I’ve owned a Glock 26 but it was just to small for my hands and now I carry my 43X and it’s a perfect fit. My 19X and the 43X are my favorite everyday Carrie’s .

The G19 is a favorite of mine but why carry a brick all day when you can carry a Hellcat RDP in comfort all day?

I hope some day Glock manufactures a Glock 26X. I would buy it in a blink.

I carry every day a micro compact, a Glock 43X with PSA Micro 15 round mags.

Glock will always have their spot. some people preferer Glock, some people prefer sig ext. it all matters what your comfortable with. But im not going to lie, Glock is way behind the curve. No one can deny every gun that was "innovated" will have issues (im not defending sig on their inexcusable 320 issues) . The reason glock is so tride and true is because they havent changed their design since 1982, When aftermarket companies start "innovating" your design and you dont learn to step out and make your own "innovation" then you know you have a problem. Glock is the company that will continually produce an old product with the smallest changes just because their scared of harming their image. If some random company can make a glock 43x mag that takes 15 rounds then why shouldnt Glock make an OEM the same? because at that point id get on it, but they refuse to change design. Imagine if glock nutted up and made metal/ slimmer mags for the glock 19 so it could hold 20 rounds flush? that would be game changing and i guarantee they could do it but they just dont.

Now no doubt, i own Glocks and i trust my life with them and at the moment i only carry them. But do not stray form the 365/hell cat if it fits you, even if you have big hands, and i have monster hands (XL gloves) and i can shoot the 365 reliably (not fun to shoot). If your a man with big hands and you dont want to carry a brick then go with the 365 or hellcat. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion but im sorry, this gentlemen is wrong. Allot of people will buy a gun and then soon chose not to carry the gun because it dose not fit them. Any gun is better than no gun. and also this bull shit fudd statement that all people say of "glock is carried by LE and MIL for a reason because their the best" is stupid and wrong... The reason Glock is used by LE and some MIL is because of price mostly, and of course the extreme reliability yes no doubt, but LE and MIL would be carrying P30, USP, P226/229, CZ75, Ext if the price of contract wasnt crazy.

Again, Glock is an immaculate firearm and i will always recommend it, but find something you like something thats reliable and something you'll actually carry because there are way more reliable firearms than glock.

I’d been carrying my baby Glock26 for the last 7 years and I love it. Very reliable I had no issues what so ever.

On your 43x are you only running the 10rd mags or have you tested / run 15's (Shield or PSA)?

If I want a firearm that's picky on ammo I'll shoot .22 LR. 9mm should just eat and eat and eat.

I am not a Glock "fan boi" but I want the best tool for the job and if my life depends on a self defense tool I want it to work EVERYTIME. For me to carry, I want to run a MIN of 1,000, flawless rounds. Right now that is my Shadow System MR920 War Poet and my G43x MOS. I also have 1,000+ through 2 G19 Gen 3s and working on an Anderson Kiger and Bul Armory Axe C. Other firearms are just range toys, like my PSA Dagger.

I shoot a Glock 20 Gen 4 - 10 mm. I would take this gun into War.

Everytime i buy a new gun ,i end up going back to my glock. Something about them imo overall are a better shtf gun.

my sig p365 has over 2000 rounds through and only one malfunction (which was my fault) for riding the slide lock. And I do have small hands like you said. smaller isnt always better. but I trust my p365 with my life. it hasnt failed me yet. I also shoot it better than the glock 43.

I love glocks but these biased videos are so dumb. Millions of people use and carry micros (p365, Hellcat, etc ) without any issues, including myself.

Was at the range the other day and brought my MP 2.0. I had a bad jam that I couldn't clear. Luckily my friend was able to. I have never had this issue with my glocks. They perform. I think am going to get rid of it for something different, or another glock. Thank you for this video.

At first I did not like my Glock 19. Now it's my number 1 carry now. I bought it new on a deal its a gen 3 and it fit my hand great finger groves included. I put 2000rds through it to learn on it. I put a streamlight tlr1 on it and carry it apendex.

Just say you are a good gun guy. Why blindly favor Glocks over everything? That mindset in itself is the issue. A good gun is a good gun irrespective of who.makes it.

Never sell. Only buy. Back in the 90's i loved glocks, then i started liking S&W so i got some of those, then sig, so i got some of those...long story short i own damn near every popular 9mm on the market in the last 20 years from Glock, S&W, sig, CZ, HK, walther, and various others, so now i can run whatever strikes my fancy lmao. It's almost always a glock, and lately it's the Gen5 G26 or the G43.

Yes, Glocks arent going anywhere, but Glock really needs to make a competitor to the P365, Hellcat, Max9, etc.

My EDC is a Glock 45MOS and very happy with it. Never failed until I started using after market drop in triggers, Tungsten springs, etc.. Put it back to stock and added Glock Performance Trigger. No issues. I clean it often as I enjoy the time and Glock recommends it for Performance Trigger. I do shoot over 600 rounds a week at nightly COF’s.

I also have a 365XL for rare ultra concealment reasons. Was never happy with it as I can’t hold it with my large hands during rapid fire. Just fixed that issue this week with an X Macro grip. Never had any issues with it in the past.

Glocks make the best pistols hands down! Most of the Law Enforcement agencies use them too. There is a good reason for that!

In 1999 I purchased my first striker fire semi auto firearm a Glock 17 3rd gen. I had a S&W 357 prior Somehow through a friend or at the range I heard about this new pistol, Glock, and should check it out. It only too 1 mag and I was hooked. Sadly I live in a communist state and though I’ve purchased a few riffles before the stupid bans I never purchased another Glock. We finally elected a 2A Sheriff, Chad Bianco, so we finally got our CCW’s I decided to bit the bullet and went into a store looked at a Glock 19, we can only get 3rd gen, as much as I hate to support anything in this state I just purchased the Glock 19. During the crazy stuff I got what ever I could to continue to train and my S&W SDV would have a miss fire or probs with chambering a round of some chec ammo at least 3-5 round per box of 50. After I shot a few boxes I loaded the ammo in my Glock and yep EVERY round fired and no chambering issued. Glock has yet to find a brand it would not take. Glock takes it all and wants more. I trust Glock with my life and when I pick up the 19 it will become my new EDC, the wife wants my 17
