Believe me. The more experience you get in software engineering, especially in Australia. Algo becomes less and less important. In fact, I start suggest changing the way my company interview people. I recommend more practical coding exercise like OOP design , system design where people can freely talk about solutions and trade off. I found its more effective to evaluate whether a candidate is solution oriented, decision making, articulate and logical reasoning
