Great channel! I'm getting more worried about nicehash because I'm looking into it more and I'm reading some scary stuff but most of the other miners seem pretty sus. Honestly I'm probably going to use nicehash for a while still. Thanks for being a great and trustworthy channel. I am playing around with nicehash, just to learn a little and have fun and see if I can actually make anything. I noticed though it says in their terms and agreements that you should not install nicehash software on any computer that has access to another wallet or sensitive info. So does mean I can't use the same computer to access online banking or coinbase, etc via a browser? Or use it for work stuff? The verbiage seemed intense and makes it sound like you really should only use the PC for gaming or running nicehash but nothing else is safe? I have googled this a fair amount can't find any info about why these terms and conditions being so strict, any thoughts?

I don't understand how the marketplace works? like you should of explain it better....like is it better to mine or selling hash power on my main pc in my down time? downtime = 7 to 8 hours which is when i'm sleeping. Also, when selling hash power do you just use the default values? I have an rtx 2060

Just setup my first rig on nice hash, like the simplicity and the worry free feeling of letting it run all day with zero issues so far.

Edit: Moved over to 2miners. NiceHash has been having a ton of "maintenance" issues....

I’m new to mining and am mining on nicehash. I have 1 asus 3070, and an MSI 1070 oc 8gb

I'd have to say, the positive is ease of use, so I setup my rig with their OS installed on a bootable USB key and it was up and running in minutes after a couple of reboots. The downside, is I will probably switch to mining ETH and they only support payouts in BTC.

Man NHM costs $52000 for 24hrs of 1TH/s for Ethereum.... Not sure their 'rent hash power' is protitable AT ALL right now....

Been trying to use NiceHashMiner and it just won't work at all. Run as admin (only user of computer) and says I dont have permissions. Or it tells me the Default App is wrong... Try fixing it? Then tells me I dont have permissions. Man, fucking complicated. I'll just have to pay the 1% fee I guess lol
