Thanks for sharing ❤🇺🇸👍
ОтветитьThank you! It took me longer to watch your video than to do the actual repair by cleaning the sensor with an SOS pad. My wife thinks I'm a hero now and it cost absolutely nothing except a little time.
Ответить////////Please: can you create a video, how to get the part number and the best websites to order parts for furnaces and how to order equivalent part if we can't find the original part?
thank you
I worked in a maintenance dept for an organization that had properties scattered around town. I kept a couple flame sensors on the van.
ОтветитьIf it's in the lockout mode, is there anything that can be done to take it out of that or only time?
ОтветитьIs this switch called the rollout switch?
ОтветитьYOU ARE THE BEST,,,,,,,
Ответитьi get to step 6.. the blower fan starts and after its up and running it stops after 10 seconds.. cleaned flame sensor and used paper clip to clear out ports and still doing the same thing. have the 3 flashed on the led. its a keeprite furnace
ОтветитьWow. Wow wow wow. This helped me so much. Had a hard time getting someone out to my rental property to fix my heater and decided I needed to take matters into my own hands. Took the door off of my unit and mine is set up almost the same as this one. I spent no lie under 2 minutes on it and it fired right up. Wow wow wow. You saved me a ton of money and headache. Thank you.!!!
ОтветитьThanks!
ОтветитьThank you. Your description of the steps of start up helped me find the problem. I have a catch in the bearing of my inducing fan preventing it from starting up. Spun the fan, heard the bearing, then went and started ran full cycle. I’ll be replacing it real soon. Thanks.
ОтветитьI just found that a spider web made a plug in the pvc drain pipe causing the water to back up and shut it down. It cost me $100 dollars for diagnostic. While the tech was testing things I went out and poked a stick in the pipe an a gallon of water came gushing out. That fixed it, he charged me anyway.
ОтветитьAs your face is pretty so is your soul pretty. Very well done. Good work. Good knowledge explained well for people’s problems with furnace.
ОтветитьMy lennox does all that until it gets to after the flame turns on . They will stay on for about 90 sec then all turns off then tries again
ОтветитьSo easy to understand and follow your instructions! That might sound simple, but it's not always a common skill.
ОтветитьSaved me $1,400 in repair bill. TYTY.
ОтветитьWhat if step one is the issue? Like Furnace not starting the cycle at all. Power good. No codes. Replaced thermostat. No click when calling for heat. Could a dirty filter keep furnace from starting the cycle?
ОтветитьThis video just saved me $$$. Found the flame sensor assembly was not connected to the frame. Two anchor screws removed by the last tech that did a tune up were never reinstalled. Thanks for the videos!
ОтветитьMy old furnace ARCOAIR it's ok steps 1, 2 and 3 but not flame at burners.
What I will check.?
I just tried it and i saved 200 dollars .good video
ОтветитьThanks sir, you just saved me a $75 service call…..
ОтветитьThank you!!!!! You saved me so much stress today sir!!!!
ОтветитьI had a similar problem, but I noticed when the main blower came on the flames expanded out and heated another sensor and this shut down the furnace also. My problem was a tiny hole in the heat exchanger. I found a replacement and carefully took the furnace apart (taking many pictures so I could put it back together) . I found a heat exchanger online. Lucky for me, I had 2 furnaces and lived upstairs where we had heat still
ОтветитьHey, my Goodman gas furnace is only getting to step one, no igniter heating up, red light on circuit board flashing 6 times, only can find one roll out sensor to reset, but not tripped, now what? Please help anyone
ОтветитьSaved me many dollars! Thanks much!
ОтветитьMy Burners are going off every 30 seconds. Is that that normal?
ОтветитьI have to clean my sensor every year on a Lennox SL280UH.... otherwise I have this exact problem.
ОтветитьTHANK YOU!
ОтветитьThanks to this no-fluff video, I was able to clean our flame sensor and we didn't wake up freezing. My furnace is from a different manufacturer, but your explanation of the process was so clear that I was able to find the sensor on our unit. I'm most grateful, and subscribed.
ОтветитьThank you so much!! My furnace had exactly this issue. I found this video. Told my husband, then he followed your instructions and now we have a working furnace again. Thank you again!!
ОтветитьI’ve been watching and reading tips for hours! This did the trick and you did a great job explaining how to do it. Thanks!!
ОтветитьDidn’t know about the shut off switch. Working beautifully. Thanks
ОтветитьScott, thank you so much for this upload. I didn't know how easy this fix was since here in Colorado Springs we just got about 6 inches of snow. I've replaced the gas valve
troubleshot everything I could think of until I found your video. A simple flame sensor switch, 1/4 socket and a piece of sandpaper. Thank you again ! 💯 👍
Step number 3 it's not even turning on to make the burner on and it's getting very cold already here in Chicago 😢 I turned it off for hours and it's not working 😔
ОтветитьIf the flames do not ignite, what are your thoughts? I have replaced the igniter which is now working properly. I replaced the thermostat which is working properly. I replaced the air filter with a new one, I cleaned off the flame sensor, i cleaned in and around the entire unit and checked for loose or broken connections. The flames just do not ignite. No gas lines were moved or even disturbed. Furnace was working fine, then it wasn't. The relay in step 4 where the gas valve turns on is the thing not happening. Thoughts? And thank you.
ОтветитьThank you! Got my in-laws furnace working on the weekend. They both had Covid and no furnace. You had us heat in 15 minutes!
ОтветитьGood video I literally just fixed mines in 5 min by cleaning the flame detection sensor
ОтветитьExcellent video. Thanks.
ОтветитьMy thermostat is not calling for heat. What do I do?
ОтветитьI have situation with furnace right now when is time to the gas valve send the signal to board burn my fuse. Any suggestions will be appreciated!
ОтветитьMy furnace wouldn't start so I followed this advice cleaned the sensor flame and the furnace fired right back on- but it shut down the next day again? Replacing the flame sensor now.
ОтветитьGreat video, Thank you
ОтветитьMy furnace is 40 years old. Pilot light won't stay lit. 😭
ОтветитьMy flue gas pressure switch won’t close allowing my burners to ignite
ОтветитьThank you for making this video! I was expecting to pay to have my furnace fixed but was able to do it myself in a few minutes. Repair went exactly as you explained it in the vid
ОтветитьVery good video clearly cleaned and to the point. You pointed out 6 steps how about a scenario of each step failure
ОтветитьI’m familiar with the flame detention sensor . And I have cleaned good but my problem is there is no flame in my gas furnace and the gas is on should I replace the flame detention sensor next that Will solve my problem the furnace does kick on or should I replace my thermostat?
ОтветитьI used $100 bills when the customer standing over my shoulder
