I used to think you could not have a demon if you have the Holy Spirit but one seems to have attacked and controlled me anyway. So I will try this deliverance stuff.

No, no, no. How can you be so wrong. If we are in Christ, He says that He will send the Comforter which is the Holy Spirit to indwell us. If the Spirit of the Living God has taken up dwelling in believers, there is absolutely no room for a 'demon' to hide.

I’ve watched Pastor Robert a few times, and Gateway is less than 10 min from my house. This is one of the biggest, wealthiest churches in the DFW area! The video God gave me over 7yrs ago was Robert Morris "Stop tolerating the Jezebel spirit!" Teaching. Good Stuff it was given by God in my darkest hour to me. And boy it opened my eyes to victory as Jezebel and I were going head to head.

I have listen to Milton Greene sermons a lot. He is great. On you tube. His testimony ( milton ) is fantastic !

Pastor Robert Morris may believe in deliverance, but his Gateway satellite church kicked me from the prayer team for doing deliverance on a girl who was manifesting demons. Prior, Gateway told me they believed in deliverance so I was trying to get a deliverance team together for this branch because the girl I sat next to in church manifested demons every time Jesus name was said. It's a long story, but the Holy Spirit hit me like lightening one day, and that day - moments later, I touched her and said, "thank you for saving my seat," and I felt the electricity leave me and go into her leg. She began to weep and from that day on the demons began to manifest. After about 2 months of this, I took her in a private room with a window leading to the hall and did the most controlled deliverance a person can do, but I can't control the fact that her demons where like slithering like alligators and drooling. The Gateway corporate management burst in the door and began demanding explanations in the middle of it. I told them, "I am taking the authority Jesus gave me to cast out demons." And the head woman's response was, "You need to Submit to the authority of Gateway." A room full of people came in and began commanding me to "submit to the authority of Gateway" and kicked us out of the room. We calmly left. The girl and her mother where weeping as they escorted us out. They then did a thorough investigation on me with interviews to explain myself. In the meeting with me they explained to me they believe the girl is mentally ill based on her demonic manifestations, and I told them "I wouldn't come into agreement with that." They didn't like that. The Bible says, "life and death are in the power of the tongue," and I wasn't going to speak mental illness over her. I heard the demons say, "she's mine you can't have her," and leviathan was twisting her body every time I said his name. The corporate side of Gateway got really weird towards me like I was some type of threat. My whole family ultimately left. The girl on the other hand was very hurt by the church, but was delivered of all sorts of demons, including leviathan. She has since gone back to her home country and her whole family started a deliverance ministry because of her being set free.

Anyone who understands deliverance knows, the repeated, "You need to submit to the authority of Gateway" is a spirit of religion famously associated to the Catholic Church. This is not Pastor Robert Morris fault, he probably knows nothing about this. He probably would not have agreed with their approach had he known about it, but they are the corporate side of his satellite church.

I'll watch to the end. Can I have some scriptures showing that demons can indwell in the beleiver where the Holy Spitit lives.

I would think that a thief would be pretty petrified trying to get into a house with someone as powerful as the Holy Spirit residing inside. We need to pray over this as here in 2023 these Demons are running rife across the world, what we are facing right now is not just a spiritual attack it's spiritual warfare and we need to put on the armor of God and fight back with prayer.

Love it! Pastor Morris is awesome, having that large of church I’m sure he lost a few “religious” people by doing that but he did what he needed to be done.

Whole Churches can be heald in bondage, this can happen with a change of pastors.
The time comes when a Pastor leaves for a reason, it could be sickness or a calling, but he must protect the Church he is leaving.
There can be a new Pastor sent by Satan, he will please the members with his words, and seem like a blessimg, and the elders will be pleased the Church is blessed.
Week by week the new pastor will turn to strange words and false Doctrine.
Some will leave, and some will stay, the new one does not show concern for those leaving, and sometimes will meet in secret with the elders and long term members.
He is a liar, he will pursue those he wants to keep for a season to convince those that left were evil.
Before you know the church is taken over, new people will arrive, and the new pastor will embrace them, and build them up.
At this point the church is taken by the evil works of darkness.

I absolutely love pastor Robert Morris and am so thankful to call Gateway my home church. Thank you for sharing this and thank you for bringing light to this subject. I was using hard drugs for 16 years, using IV for 8 of those. The Lord healed and delivered me from addiction and a lifelong eating disorder. He healed me from Hep C and now I work with women in recovery from addiction sharing the gospel and walking alongside them.
Jesus is the only way. I've tried everything else. The Gospel is alive and well.

What New Testament scriptures are there that show born-again believers as having demons and needing to be delivered from them? If you believe this, why doesn't the NT stress this need for believers to be delivered in the epistles?
