If two commercial dongs is released and both choose the same scaler melody, can the last released one get sued for copyright? 😅
Ответить...'You're obviously not a golfer...':) Big Lebovski
ОтветитьScaler is so powerful but so accessible, It's a must have.
ОтветитьIm thinking of buying Scaler 2, how applicable are the melodic ideas outside of pop and/or electronic music? Say I wanted orchestral melodies, or symphonic metal or guitar parts? Regardless, looks like incredible software!
ОтветитьThat bassline is driving me nuts lol
SO doesn't work
Thank you! May I ask what daw are you using?
ОтветитьNot only I have produced amazing songs with Scaler, it's been teaching me music theory. The more I use it the more I learn. My best investment hands down.
ОтветитьI was going to ask for something lame like programmable key switches but your playback performance groups blew me out of the water! Brilliant! Thank you!!!!!!
ОтветитьI love following along with the videos even after watching them 2-3x. Still learning to master it, if that's possible. It's incredibly deep. I can imagine you brainiacs have some even more genius ideas in the pipeline.
ОтветитьJust got Scaler. I'd love to know if I can record a Lead vocal stem and extract the MIDI from it? Maybe I'm missing something but can't seem to get it to work, if that's even possible?
ОтветитьI’m kind of hesitant to get this program and I don’t know why. It seems this software would be a good enforcement for the general music theory that I have already. The layout looks pretty simple and easy to understand and also easy to Maneuver around in the software. 🤔
ОтветитьBrilliant! I own a NDLR and what would be a user feature request would be to add an LFO to control the actual notes chances being played and changed generatively! Thanks guys!
ОтветитьJust bought Scaler2! So excited to try it out this weekend!!!
ОтветитьIt would be nice to have the ability to play with the sounds of a vst instrument.. I think that is a big downside to this plugin
ОтветитьThis is why all of today's music sounds exactly alike.....no one is actually playing an instrument anymore....there is no talent here... ..But your toturial was doped, thanks much.....
ОтветитьI am sorry but what is the pad you are using? This has me so curious
ОтветитьCan we PLEASE get a single video on creating Global/Ethnic music? Music from Japan, Africa, Celtic Music, Deutschland, the Virgin Islands, etc?
I feel like a crazy person just trying to find and instruction book or anything in the forums....(also, could we please vary which modes you cover... major, minor, major, minor, which is likely why a number of things get missed, because of the same mindsets. Not trying to be a jerk. I am simply very frustrated).
Great video. Appreciated seeing Scalar in more upbeat songs.
ОтветитьGreat Scaler 2 ! Thanks David, very well explained. Scaler 2 is really amazing to improve the musician creativity. I am very happy to have purchased Scaler 1 since year ago, and every update surprise me a much more. It was as a good idea to have it. Tremendous piece of software, really thinking in the composer.
ОтветитьSold me with the melody variation thing. Sets it apart from sounding purely like presets.
Ответитьall good ...n' we're all now on 2.4, but one thing i'm struggling to get from playbacks is for color or motiff all function to work...and am still having to manually trigger a change in a melodic phrase....anyone know what 'i'm missing' by not having the all function play through the range?
ОтветитьGreat beast of a tool ! 😎
ОтветитьAwesome video thank you
Ответитьthis plugin is a revolution !
ОтветитьThank you!! It is a very complete tutorial, it would be great if you can translate it into Spanish, greetings from Argentina!
ОтветитьI want to say, your tutoriels are great but for God's sake the sounds you choose is so messy. If you don't have a ear for sound Just use the normal Piano and Bass sounds. It is a pity because your tutoriels are very helpful,But sounds really bad. I am sorry.
Ответитьany idea of a bass setting that would work on slow blues? Thank you :)
ОтветитьI just bought Scaler 2 the other day and have been diving deep to learn the nuances of the software. Thank you for this lesson, it's been very enlightening.
ОтветитьThis feels like a track you would hear on Horizon Radio (via Forza Horizon 4)
ОтветитьDude, that bass line is absolutely terrible and out of rhythm. Am I the only one who hear that?
Ответить@SQS What's missing is the drums creation in Scaler and I would love to see a new style for "New Wave" too :)
Ответитьwhat can you say, a great and powerful software with free substantial updates. Bravo
ОтветитьThis is the most in-depth video for scaler 2 I’ve seen so far!
Ответитьok. cool.
ОтветитьRemember- if you dont have minimum talent for your own music/style, this makes you even more untalented. Just makes you primitive
ОтветитьIs someone going to sue me for using the artists chord progressions and melodies if I released a track using this ? Half serious , but seriously.
ОтветитьThe bass bit sounds completely out of time to my ears? Looking forward to downloading the update :)
ОтветитьAmazing demo! Can Scaler run standalone without using the DAW or any plans in the future for this?
ОтветитьI own Scaler 2.2 . Wish there was an iOS version. Id buy that too.
ОтветитьScaler 2 is a true game changer. It actually pushed me to learn music theory and to try to understand all the concepts behind it. This is one of the most sophisticated pieces of software which I've seen so far. I don't know how you managed to make it so cheap and at the same time make it that good! This is truly impressive. Thank you so much!
ОтветитьAwsome tutorial 👏👏👏
ОтветитьIf l connect my synthesizer (cobalt 8) to my computer could l use the patch sounds from my synth in scaler to create cords?
ОтветитьI learned music by ear and still don't know (or care much) about music theory. Scaler 2 has given me the tools to explore so many scales and chords that I would never have done in a million years.
Great product!! It's a must have and I recommend it to everyone.
This was exactly the video I was looking for. I wish I've watched this right away as soon as I got Scaler.
ОтветитьI really enjoy these very well structured tutorials but man, you gotta put a compressor on your video narration track. You have a habit of tapering off the volume on your sentences when you talk. At least try to get your vocal level same as your intros and outros maybe. Just a thought. Keep em coming. Great stuff!
ОтветитьCan you guys do a future update with string runs
ОтветитьI love how Scaler team continues to work in the software non stop! Thanks David!
