Th only thing you need to know to be fast is to get 60 stops before lunch check your itinerary map so you're not driving back and forth

I like how the packages are sorted for you, for me I get all the packages in random order and have to know the route to order the packages in my fan. This is especially frustrating when I have to drive a route I don't know yet.

I am onboard with most of this video. However, not wearing your seatbelt properly is a major red flag! Not only is it against most state laws, but it is a safety issue. No one should be using this “seatbelt trick.”

Yeah, unfortunately I got a phone call from the dispatcher saying they had to let me go 😢 I guess because I've kept getting rescued but I was going as fast as I can.

I used to sort by numbers and you changed my life, now i sort the envelops by street and its soooooo easy and takes me like 2 minutes per bag to do that. I save a lot of time sorting by street thank you man now i am a happy delivery driver

Fuck Amazon it's slave labor, they will let u go out of nowhere for not being extremely fast at 150! Stops minimum, some people like this can do it, I did for over two years and went back to try again and it's all fucked now, netradyne cameras monitor everything u do, I sped up in traffic to be safe so the person behind wouldn't hit me and I got an alert for "FOLLWOING TOO CLOSE* and stop signs and all that shit, they just used me for only the Christmas season then fired me right after cutting routes, it's slavery and u will see when u get there, if u hurt yourself while trying to move fast they will not ever help u, u are essentially a body with two arms and two legs, and if u stay long enough yuoru body will be so fucked by 30 years old

You go faster and yet the company could care less about you. Then you end up hurt and you're without a job.

I've been a delivery driver for about 3 years now, right now we have probably the worst route possible lol. i thought having 150-190 stops was bad but man, when you've got 150 stops and 70+ multiple locations with apartments, businesses, and little gated town home communities with a narrow dead end street, and residential stops in one day you really have like 300 deliveries or more and it is just awful. Our DSP has been putting pressure on us to be back at the station by 7:30pm and we dont get on the road til 11am. Having these routes make me miss the 150-190 deliveries with almost 0 multiple locations lol but i still enjoy delivering and get done at decent time so im also able to go rescue.

I’m sorry but your organization is bad. You don’t need to organize by street name when Amazon does it for you. It’s better to organize by the sticker number and line them up. Instead of looking for an address, you look for the sticker number which is usually the next one in line if you line them up. My way I can easily do 200 stops 390 packages in a branded dodgers van in 6 hours without having to run.

You have a lot of great tips for going faster, but, the one tip I will have to disagree with you on is the seat belt. In my 3 years of delivering, I've seen driver netrodyn cam videos of crashes and accidents, and that lap belt is vary important. We've had 1 driver get ejected from their van while only wearing the shoulder without the lap belt and vary lucky and fortunate to still be with us today. Other than that, great tips! Keep doing what your doing (besides the lap belt imo) and always stay safe!

Beware anytime you return Amazon item, save your receipts for at least 90 days or take picture and save that. As Amazon will wait like 60 days and tell you they didn’t receive the return, knowing you probably don’t have proof of return! This happened to my cousin who I am writing for as he cancelled his Amazon and does not have Facebook. He immediately returned something at a UPS store and after about 2 Months they said they didn’t receive item and would charge him. He will of course dispute with credit card company but be aware…. this should be a class action lawsuit in the future.
