Best TVs to Buy for Gaming Early 2022

I went with Samsung QN90A a couple years ago and still using it to play competitive FPS on PS5
and still notice a slight delay in input lag.

Comparing my QN90A specs with LG C1, C2 C3, I notice on your website you show that the QN90A
is better than ALL the LG's for input lag at 120hz 4K.
The only thing LG has better than the QN90A is the response time.

My question is, how much does response time effect input lag?
I know they are two different things, but the fact remains, response time is still important to seeing what is being displayed correctly correct?

So with the, response time of
8.2ms and input lag of 5.3ms for Samsung QN90A,
and
2.3 ms response time and 5.5ms input lag for LG C3,

How does this correctly average out to decide which one truly is faster for input delay according to what we see on screen?

I need the very best in what I visually see being registered on the screen and I'm pretty sure BOTH Response time and input lag are crucial must haves for competitive shooters like Call of Duty.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Have the TCL R646 and play my pc gaming on it fine. Paired with 13700k, RTX 3090Ti at 4k 120hz. The tv is a Q mini led from Samsung. Get the Google version for better settings. VRR and 8.1 ms response time at 4k. Dolby Atmos vision and HDR10. Funny they only show the 5 series TCL and not the top end 6 series in this review.

I bought LG C1 55inch TV. I regret playing on small TV is more enjoyable.

I'd completely disagree, the A80J is hands down better than the C1 and C2 in basically every way.

I noticed the response time difference between them
input lag similar, but finally playing without dimming and bright enough at daytime
I recommend either QN95B or A95K for gaming without dimming issues

U should include the LG G2 in this comparison. I paired my PS5 with my 65" LG G2 and it is gorgeous!! With all the gaming support and the new heatsync that makes the screen brighter just makes everything pops more and this is one of the best tv i've ever owned for gaming. 😍

Is C1 bad in bright living rooms?

just ordered the c1 48in. missed the sale price by one day and had to fork out an extra 100 bucks

Why not buy televisions and test them for watching movies and series, not just video games. Millions in the USA don't play games on their television. It is mostly young people that game on television.

I’ve been using the LG C9 since Feb 2020 as dedicated PC gaming monitor and there isn’t one sign of burn in yet. I have over about 7,000 hours. Also have the 5 year Best Buy warranty with about 3 years left just in case. I like how it’s getting cheaper over the years too. My next Tv will most definitely be an LG OLED again.

The U6G lost so much color from one end of the couch to the other that I returned it

I purchased the hisense 65 inch u8g earlier this year and I came away blown away by this TV now now this TV is the best mid range TV you can for the price I 👌 paid 899 plus taxes but and I glad I did bought it go look at quantum TV preview/review for c2 as I don't think he was fully done with it
This hisense TV holds it own against a LG c1 and even the c2 and even tvs from sony and Samsung and I am not saying it is better than those tv's but for a fraction of the price you can't beat it
Hisense have fixed a lot of the issues this TV had at the beginning runs like a champ for me now

You forgot to mention that the Sony x90j does support Dolby vision for gaming

Still rocking a 2016 Samsung QLED KS7000. Lovely telly (for its time) but the blooming around bright objects during dark scenes is annoying sometimes, that's definitely something I need to look out for when I upgrade later this year to either a 2021 or 2022 model

Get the u7g if you want something cheaper than a u8g

I bought the LG C1 in November. Playing Horizons Forbidden West on it and it just looks phenomenal

If I was a gamer I would have gone LG oled. I went with Sony due to the better processing and I am 90% film 10% game. The ASBL on the sonys suck for games with huds. You can turn this off on the LG.

DO NOT BUY LG their after sales support is horrible took 6months for them to just pick up a my TV which has a hardware failure, then it took them another 3 months to refund.

I got the 65" Samsung QN90A and it's definitely an upgrade from my old Sony tv I got back in 2014. However, I wish I waited a bit, because I didn't find out about the Samsung QDOLEDs until after I made my purchase. Now I got some serious FOMO going on!
