The spear was visible before it even crossed the wall. If you don't get distracted by the scoreboard you can see it. He reacted in ~0.5s which isn't fast he just has good eyes.

what's impressive about faker is his consistency. I've had some moments like this where I'm actively paying attention and react to dodge skill shots crazy fast but it's only because I'm actively and pre-emptively thinking. That's what faker is doing here. What's impressive about faker is the consistency and accuracy with which he does stuff like this. Me, an average player, can do stuff like this once every 4 or 5 games or so. Faker can do it multiple times in a single game and manage to somehow keep his eyes on everything going on in a game all at once. it's like watching an RTS player play league.

If you look closely on the top left corner he actually sees the spear from behind the wall before it even passes through the wall. It was between a 0.5s-1s window.

While i am able to see it quite early on the time it would take me to act on it would be wayy longer than that. Seeing singular abilities or something similar usually isnt my problem instead its that i just lack the skill and reaction time to react to it.
