I am looking for, & thought, this video would show how to change password b/c time to make a change or, as in my present situation ➡ b/c one of my contacts was hacked/I replied to the hacker/want to protect my email. I am using firefox on iPad IOS / NOT using Yahoo App/am using Classic Yahoo mail version/am ALREADY IN my mail account/ went to hamburger lines, but "Manage your account" not listed as an option. Looked in "Settings", but don't see it there either. Your video came up as answer to my google/your title matches, but not the content. I see this is 4yrs old, and wonder if you'd be willing to make one specifically for peeps looking for just wanting to change one's password-not b/c locked out or forgot password? Thanks vey much.

I was on the phone with Yahoo to get my password reset and all they wanted was MONEY before they could help me. I am having a problem trying to access my account. I dont remember the password I used so I wanted to reset the password. However, I can still access my email account which is so weird. I did what you had showed to do. It does work but then when I click to get the last screen after I put the code in, it asked me to contact Yahoo. I am stuck in the middle. So now I dont know how to reset the password.

He is talking to fast for this 65 year old to get it all. So I am no better than when I. Started

When I use the email for recovery I receive the code when I entered the code opens another window asking for the phone number. I inform you that I no longer have access to this number. It opens another window saying: "Call premium customer care" this service is not free. the other option "Visit our Free help site" here there is no help on. I got the code and it doesn't work. Do you have any tip?

I recently did the same and recovered my account by resetting the password, however why i logged into my account my inbox was empty...why is that this is my 18 years old account and had tons of emails...

This is only helpful if you have never signed in on that device on that account before. Omg this is do aggravating. I even called the customer service line for help, but they wouldn't help me bc I'm not a paid member. 😡
