But how does this harm anybody but Sony, the market leader? I don't understand these government entities trying to protect entrenched market leaders.
ОтветитьThings don't have to be "for sale" for Microsoft to step in. Sony doesn't have "everyone has a price" money.
ОтветитьI don't see Sony offering up their exclusives like naughty dog stuff but Ryan is expecting Phil to agree not to have any exclusives
ОтветитьI honestly believe that PlayStation and square Enix has a handshakes deal.
Just don't want to say anything till this is over
They could outright cancel COD and another would take its place in minutes
ОтветитьAnd Canada judges just blocked it. It appears Microsoft Lawyers accused of lieing with figures given.
ОтветитьThis entire thing was only a way for playstation to attempt to extort xbox in putting zenimax games back on ps
ОтветитьCryan "If you buy ABK then every future game and new IP still needs to come to PS"
FU Jim, then in that very regard you need to put Spidey, GoW, etc on Xbox. No? Then FU
Lol Yeah Microsoft doesn't want complete ownership of every sector of the market it's been involved in. It doesn't want to monopoly it doesn't want exclusives it just wants to play nice with everyone 😂😂😂😂
ОтветитьSo wtf is cod mobile?
ОтветитьThere’s nothing wrong with saying you want to spend the competition out of business legally that’s not an illegal strategy it’s a strategy many companies have employed over the years as long as you don’t under price something to upset the market that’s fine if a business certainly wants to put all of their profits towards a certain endeavor and it happens to be spending to acquire more studios. You still have to manage them and Microsoft is perfectly within the law when doing so or if they want to do so nothing wrong with it we don’t like how it sounds as gamers because we don’t want all these studios under one umbrella but nobody cares what you think. We only care with the law says.
ОтветитьHow dare you not have EVERYTHING in order and fully prepared!
Who do you think you are! The FTC...?
I appreciate the work & effort you're putting into this. This trial is vital to the gaming future.
PS I love the long form.
Is there a way to get the unredacted document from you or anywhere ?
ОтветитьHey, that's a nice $69 billion deal you have there, it would be a shame if something happened to it. I totally won't do everything in my power to kill it for you if you give us everything you own while we give you nothing and keep paying publishers to exclude your platform. - Jim
ОтветитьIf Jim Ryan wants Starfield, how about they budge on Final Fantasy and other square properties.. It comes down to how Sony doesn't wanna share... yet, they expect Microsoft to?, hypocritical in my opinion..
ОтветитьAppreciate you man, no one does it like u 😁🔥🔥💯
ОтветитьSquare is interesting. I could say this is a business major Microsoft could disrupt that idea if they wanted to. When a company is looking to be acquired by someone else, the main focus is always, and I do mean always money. Who will pay us the most per share, who will give us the most financial benefit? It’s only offered let’s say 5 billion for square Microsoft could step in an offer mature and square would have to consider the higher offer. They couldn’t turn around and say well. We have a relationship with Sony will take the lower offer. They would be sued up the ass by people who own stock in the company. The only way they could take the lower offer is if they were a privately held company and they are not. Since the public Owns Square, Square, Hass to look at the largest offer made to them financially Microsoft and step in and just disrupt everything Sony looks to do in the future. They should make a blanket statement if Sony is looking to buy you come to us we can make a better deal.
ОтветитьHello Dustin, who do you think is winning the trial.
Ответитьjim ryan has got some nerve. Requesting all these demands and he shares nothing, if he had the 68 billon he wouldn't share any of those games. Bald bastard needs to stay in his lane.
ОтветитьPhill isn't wrong..They need exclusives to compete. How will they compete with Sony if they give them everything.what's the point in spend $70 billion if you're going to give everything away to everyone?..Would Sony give everything away if it was the other way around?..Sony is just being greedy here and i don't agree with Satya about the execlusives..You can't just stop exclusivity and give everything away ..It's pretty clear to me that guy doesn't know anything about the Video games industry and how thing go to compete in this business..Exclusivity is important and that what's drive growth not just in the video game industry...Later
ОтветитьSmArt?! Jim Ryan wanting Starfield is what’s holding up the acquisition? They have no power they can only bitch and moan. Doesn’t matter what they want but it’s clear they are not getting Starfield.
ОтветитьSeriously though I got a decade of COD campaigns to play....let's go !
ОтветитьFTC about to win in a bombshell verdict, calling it now!!
ОтветитьDon't stress about not having everything perfectly prepared especially on longer videos like this with your style of content I think it's cool
ОтветитьI watched the whole video. It was super interesting
ОтветитьBut PlayStation literally pays developers to keep games or have them delayed for a year. Jim crying, lying Ryan stiles again
ОтветитьI do not think you understand just how interesting these videos are. I, and many more I am sure, stayed. Keep up the great work. I personally do not mind you having everything up all at once. Feels like we are researching with you. Great work, bro!!
ОтветитьNo exclusives no exclusives 😂 says xbox morons
ОтветитьSo jim ryan wanted phil to guarantee that xbox would have no exclusives, while his sorry ass takes 3rd party games, on top of their own and makes them exclusive to pos5.... fkn WOW. What a shitty pos of a dude. Now i see why sony fanbiys are so toxic... its literally their culture.
ОтветитьI still don’t understand how this is a topic of debate. Call Of Duty is a title that ONLY thrives with a high player count. It’s a fully multiplayer game that will not survive without a high player count. Especially with mmr it’s a game designed with all platforms in mind to thrive.
ОтветитьMarathon was Bungies first IP, before Halo.
ОтветитьThis is mad the FTC are only talking about Sony and COD. Why? I really hope sony lose this and Microsoft put cod on but then rename it and go here is our new IP to replace cod and it's available on every platform but sony 😂😂
ОтветитьAlso you KNOW Jim Ryan would ship "inferior products" on Xbox. Also what he might be doing is smart, but it's also super scummy. There's no reason they are entitled to ANY of the Bethesda games, or the Activision games, so to try to get both(under these circumstances, and also make Xboxes purchase less valuable because they are locked into what they said here) what a scumbag, a smart scumbag, but still a scumbag. But I guess that's what most of big business is.
ОтветитьGreat work. Thanks for the breakdown
ОтветитьHell blade came out on ps first and wasnt own by MS then...... Dont reach
ОтветитьIt is very interesting, but this kinda shit should NEVER be leaked out to the public or to competitors. Revealing your private strategy (not just hear any company) could cause a shift in investments, huge dips in investor confidence, and even make a business take a huge hit or maybe even go out of business down the road. And especially in this case since Microsoft is locked up, so other people could make moves ahead of them while they can't do anything about it during litigation.
We've seen tons of businesses completely fail off of bad decisions, and what if the stuff they leaked wasn't even an actual plan, just two employees shooting the shiat, and the investors take it as the true strategy that they are not interested in.
The issue with the email though, is that... It's not enough for the FTC to have the judge lean towards them a little bit. The FTC has full burden of proof to show their claims. If the Matt Booty email is their golden goose, and Microsoft was able to even cast a bit of a doubt on the email's intention, then the FTC lost.
In the eyes of the court, the Merger isn't illegal until proven by the FTC. And you need a lot more than an email from 2019 to prove that. Especially, as the email can be interpreted as "The general public views us as being able to outspend Sony". Not Matt saying they will do that, but that they're seen as able to do so. And everyone knows this. Microsoft has more free cash than Sony's net worth.
Naoki Yoshida:
1. fail : Buy a damn PS5
----- got a Shitstorm
2. fail after it: Xbox is to weak for FF16...
3. Fail: its easier to delevop for 1 System
All: Thts true
Starfield comes for PC and Xbox:
- Sony cries
Bethesda: its easier to delevop on less plattforms - owned 😂😂😂😂🎉
Thanks!
ОтветитьShovelware shovelware and more shovelware. Xbox console are a waste of time and money. No haptics no vr no motion controls no mic no speaker. It just sucks. Starfield is going to be a failure. The game is and has been in dev hell.
ОтветитьHow do you feel about how your primary employers covers this stuff?
ОтветитьWhat about the benefit to gamers when it comes to the availability of Final Fantasy? the Hypocrisy in Sony's argument is just ridiculous.
ОтветитьNice you have a channel thank god
Ответить"MS wanted to spend Sony out of business" So, like Sony is doing right now, and since at least the PS2. But I am sure people will whine about that quote and not bother to see Sony's spending to keep them above MS. Yes, MS is a larger corporation than Sony - but Xbox is smaller than The market leader, if we ignore Nintendo for some reason, is permitted to just do whatever it wants, but the number two or three, must be scrutinized.
Ответить👾STARFIELD 👾 sony still crying because sony tried to keep STARFIELD off all platforms now sony isn't getting STARFIELD 🚀 😂😂😂😂
Ответитьokay yes it’s ironic for Sony to buy out 3rd-parties and then get mad when Microsoft does it, but I’ll say that at least they’re not buying out entire studios and IP’s. Microsoft is genuinely aiming to become a monopoly (they’re already teetering on the edge of being one in the gaming space), and I hate that. Also it’s so cringe that they try to position themselves as the small guys against Sony and Nintendo when the entire company of Microsoft has far more money than either of those two. This whole thing is just so pathetic
