ОтветитьI always took this game as a metaphor for disease and how the human body handles it, or tries to.
A cancer cell could be searching through the bloodstream (all the depths and water) for the tumor that's growing in the brain that's about to be surgically removed. It hurriedly journeys up through the arteries, passing through the digestive system (the farmland), the liver (the town), the heart (the Pulse), the lungs (The depths) , the nervous system (the floating experiments in zero gravity, the tanks) and then to the brain (the Lab). It molds into the tumor as desired. However, the invasive operation is underway and the tumor tries to resist, yet it eventually gets extracted from the body and disposed of...
The albinos and the siren could be viruses the cancer cell tries to mimic in order to evade the white blood cells (people with flashlights, the dogs) and chemicals from the chemo (robots, cameras and machines) that are trying to kill it. Which would make sense since by the end no one seems to bat an eye when he appears at the aquarium...
Those spots where he was breaking those electric orbs in hidden places could be lymph nodes he's infecting on his way. The pigs that died, and people who appear to be docile yet clothed, trucked and caged away are unfortunately killed viruses, and good and bad cells that were effected by the chemo therapy treatments~
Then that hidden place in the corn field, might just be the area where the chemo is being injected... He tries to trigger what he thinks is a lymph node but gets killed instantly.
Lastly, the beach... an allegory of the outside world, or the open incision where the operating room's lamp shines in... where the tumor dies under after being viciously removed.
If i had a dime for every time GamerSault say “presumably” i’d be a millionaire by now
Ответитьthe world of inside is the final result of complete communist control after a final world war
ОтветитьThis guy has such bad speaking skills. But this is the only videos I can find on this game
ОтветитьWhat if that's the same boy from Limbo. When he died under water he went to Limbo and when he got back to the gril at the end of Limbo he came back at the same moment of Inside. Then he continued his journey in the game.
ОтветитьI wish someone would make this game a movie.
Ответитьshit ai voice
Ответитьmy theory is that protagonist from inside and limbo are same or it could be possible that the boy from limbo was trying to escape the facility with his sister and then both of em dies or something and in the after life stuck in limbo looking for his sister
ОтветитьSuch a great game but the ending is very sad!!
ОтветитьI beat this game in 2017 and only got 2 achievements so I played it again in 2024 and realized that Its nearly Impossible to get these achievements unless you have a guide of some sort showing you how to get them. this actually makes me appreciate the game 10x more 👌
Ответитьwhats the point of this stupid game
ОтветитьOne of the best Indie game.
No wonder it was Game of year contender
The Organization is my number one enemy
ОтветитьAt the end of the game, we realized that the boy was always controlled by an intelligence, which consciously knew the urgency and need for what was happening, guess who this consciousness is, YOU, who controlled
ОтветитьI have one problem with this interpretation. Say you're a super powerful organizations that creates an ultimate life form thing that can do mind control and superhuman strength and breathe underwater and all that. The boy is an integral part of the plan, yanks the helmets off, gets absorbed into The Huddle, etc. Then they lure The Huddle into a big isolation tank thing. All that is well supported by the game and pretty clear.
Why in the everloving hell would this organization's ultimate plan be to have The Huddle end up on a beach outside? That's millions of tax dollars sitting on the beach like a dead jellyfish. The diorama does depict the same forest slope and beach, and I think The Huddle landing in the middle of it is literary foreshadowing of its eventual end. I don't think it's a secret sign that this organization wanted to give The Huddle a beach day. I think The Huddle's final escape wasn't part of the plan. When they put it in that final tank, they expected it to stay there so they could use it later.
I believe the «sirens» are dead, but are activated when they feel a human pulse. Like a shark drawn to blood
ОтветитьJust a thought, we are controlling the mind of the child in the first place, so we are part of the whole experiment too..
ОтветитьI can't wait for the open world version of this
ОтветитьMy theory is that the entire game is just the misadventures of Kenny McCormick and everytime you die its canonical but Kenny (the character you play) just keeps going when he comes back to life bc why not? Better than hanging out with cartmen at the bus stop
ОтветитьIt is interesting that (mostly) the adversaries don't use deadly force against you. Maybe they know you are being controlled and they need to stop you
ОтветитьGamerSault, I love this! Can we be friends?
ОтветитьThe game is a metaphor for cancer. The boy is cancer and the thugs with white masks are white blood cells
ОтветитьA nitpick, but the machines aren't controlling gravity, the bodies are floating because they have air in their lungs due to buoyancy.
ОтветитьOh yah i played this on my uncles xbox and didn't even think about what the game is about
Ответитьright good work
ОтветитьMy theory is the boy is simply a test subject..will he end up in the huddle which is where the other test subjects ultimately failed or does he find all of those green orb things and shut down the system (alternate ending)
ОтветитьThe genius move by Playdead here is that the game makes you slowly realize you're not actually playing the game as much as the game is playing you.
ОтветитьI got stuck at some parts but still managed to reach the ending , took me 3 hours to finish it
The hardest for me definitely was the Burning Crate towarsd the end , where you have to throw and catch it in mid air without extinguished by water , the controls were ass on pc keyboard felt slow responsive had to borrow friends xbox controller just to beat that segment
I rate this game 8/10 based on difficulty
Meanwhile Limbo
ОтветитьIs crazy how there are so many theories out there about a hole bunch of thing to me . Even tho this is all up to you to decide how you see the ending. But this is exactly what I got from the game. Why do we play video games when we could be doing much more with our lives like making a difference weather is spending more times with your family friends kids etc. inside tell me that playing video games is just like any other drug out there and by unplugging your self or continuing to play video games your making the choice to free your self from your addiction and make more with your time then play your life away or stay plugged in because gaming is your only scape we mentally have. So is funny how the game is about escaping but we never really do escape. No matter what you do in a game you are being told what to do and were to do it. So you’re being controlled. On another hand in real life you go to your 9-5 and are being told what to do and when to do it. So you are really never in controlled. So do we really have free will after all?
ОтветитьThe boy is actually nameless if you search
ОтветитьI know this is 2 years old. But yes, the boy was always under mind control by the company. And you, the player, are part of the company and you were controlling him all along, you were NOT the child, but the one controlling him.
ОтветитьI didn’t like Limbo at all but this one has better graphics and it’s worth playing
ОтветитьThe ending was 😢😢😢
ОтветитьOne thing I always admired about inside is the sound design especially in that one area with huge shockwaves it’s extremely well done
ОтветитьWhat a legendary writing of the Plot surely the best suspense thriller game of all time
ОтветитьI saw little nightmares 2 vs inside so I wanted to see
ОтветитьSimply put: the more we stay INSIDE the closer we're drawn to technology, becoming robotic as such. The true salvation exists OUTSIDE where imagination exists.
Masterful ending.
i though we are INSIDE a human body and we are virus. White masked people are white cells which tries to kill us. Shockwaves are hearthbeating. The last body of ours looks like a giant virus and the all the water passages are veins and blood inside it. The facility looks like hearth connected to all other body parts with giant pipes
ОтветитьNever got the secret ending but I figured this was about the social politics ov the real world. About how the boy is escaping from the government that mind controls and kills its people and joins several others into escaping yet dies anyways. But watching this has made me change my opinion. This was a good analysis. There were several things I missed in my playthrough that was mentioned in this video.
ОтветитьWorth the 2 dollars on sale
ОтветитьI had bought this game again because the first time I played was 2 years ago but I didn’t finish it. I bought it today and just finished it not too long ago (turns out I missed all these secret room with the glowing balls and the other secret ending so I ah e to play again) but I didn’t feel justified at all and felt so bad for the little boy 😭😭 I tried so hard for the ending where he can escape to somewhere, anywhere, but in the end it didn’t happen. And it made me even more upset that the people were just watching at the end when he turned into the big blob of bodies, they weren’t really running but where watching and it irked me because I felt like they were soulless bastards who destroyed so many lives because of some dumb idea someone thought would be good. My boy in red deserves justice ✌🏽😭
ОтветитьJust played this yesterday after putting it off for over a year.... Amazing game! I wish there was a sequel!!
ОтветитьI think that this isn't "nearing the end of the world" as you mentioned. It would explain why they are wearing masks; to not get caught. This is likely an area in the wilderness where they managed to capture a city, and everyone in it.
ОтветитьThat's so cool, but one massive flaw with this whole story, is that if the character is mind controlled, why does the person controlling the character allow him to shut down the operation? The person controlling the player is presumably with the organisation, so they would not want to shut it down? Unless there's some sequel where we learn of this deviant in the company?
