Just read the comment below regards someone saying Slade is one of the most underrated rock bands. What on earth are you talking about!!!!!!!!Underrated???????Who said they were underrated. YOU????????They were HUGE and had so many hits I wish i had more than TEN FINGERS!!!!!!!!!!!!! JOKE.
FROM WIKIPEDIA: Slade are an English rock band formed in Wolverhampton in 1966. They rose to prominence during the glam rock era in the early 1970s, achieving 17 consecutive top 20 hits and six number ones on the UK Singles Chart.

Slade were a great band. Noddy Holders voice was so unique.

There seems to have been very few people in the studio.

I stared with Uriah Heep hits. Slade, Nazareth come immediatelly after that. Later on Deep Purple, Zeppelin and Pink Floyd. This rock period was superb. Mostly British bands, but also some Dutch etc.

Today, most people do not realise how dominant Slade were for about 3 years, 3 tracks entered the UK charts going straight in at No 1, only the Beatles had done that previously. They then went back to No 1 a few years later with My oh My, if i remember correctly. Simply awesome.

I saw Slade open for Ted Nugent at the Beaver County, Oklahoma fairgrounds in 1981. What a great show. Ted was still in his loincloth and Indian headdress and Slade was dressed in the same fruity outfits they always wore. The music was ok.

How does one look in the mirror at that beard and say “yep, I’m lookin my best today…”?

Not live but loved this song

most of my life i avoided Slade because of their attire , i first hear them with Turn up the Radio when i was a teenager.. now that i'm 52 i had just recently discovered what i missed every single song so far i absolutely love.

Love this song from Slade. Not exactly Mamma We're All Crazy Now but shows they were versatile. Great days.

One song which is often over looked by many but great vocals and one of their last hits of the '70's. Great band and my first favourites as an 8 year old kid.

Have a new found loving of Slade songs. This was mine and ex's song back in the day - I still love it now.
