They know about this and put all over the product page to only press with provide reset tool otherwise button will stick. The screws are triangular not Phillips, no way to unscrew and repair yourself. Before it turned into a brick, it worked great

Regarding the Energy MeteRegarding the Energy Meter, I hereby request the following information.
I know the meter has a battery.

My question is:
Does the consumption meter work even without the battery or with a dead battery?
Basically, it is to know if the battery is only used to store the data, e.g. the value of the KWh or on the contrary is it necessary for the operation and power supply of the display?
I intend to use the Energy Meter not to know the value of the cost of energy but to know the value of the Power, Voltage, Current Intensity (A) and Power Factor of the device that I connect to the meter.

So I don't care if the device runs on batteries alone and that I have to replace them when they run out.

A complete waste of money. why not look at your meter instead, and save the money you would have wasted on this stupid device, and put towards your next bill.
