ОтветитьEasy way, Select text, Press ctrl and space and the shading is gone .
ОтветитьLegend
ОтветитьI must have different grey shading--this doesn't work to change the shading behind the words. It's changing the color on the white page but leaving the shading behind the letters.
Ответитьthank you that was really helpful
ОтветитьHi there,I think i've enabled Shadow via text effects on my text on word which is still there unchanged even after deleting the whole word or altering it.
Could you tell me how to undo it?
What you show doesn't work; the light grey shading does not disappear.
ОтветитьHi! I tried to do what you're saying but the shades are still there.
ОтветитьThank you this was great help
ОтветитьThanks
ОтветитьThis is so obvious but this question comes up with the long running bug in word where if you copy and paste grey shaded text style from document to document it cannot be removed this way and can only be removed by rebuilding the style after clear formatting..
ОтветитьDidn't work! The gray shading is still there. Did Word change something? Because why are all the thumb downs catching up the thumb ups!? hmmmm
ОтветитьTry command-6 on a Mac.
Ответитьwhat if the shading is in different parts like separate phrases, how can you that as a whole?
ОтветитьThanks all of the other ways of doing this didn't work, but yours did, thanks it helped a lot.
ОтветитьUsually the people people have is the shading that doesn't go away, because it's part of the formatting.
ОтветитьThank-you for clear, succinct explanation. Worked for me!
ОтветитьThank you!

ОтветитьIs there a way to change the default highlight color of a selection in MS Word? The default is grey, which is horrible if using a black background with white text.
ОтветитьThanks for that, it was annoying me haha.
ОтветитьShort and Concise video, love it
ОтветитьThank you for the quick and easy fix! <3 I'm so glad I finally found your video!
ОтветитьThis doesn't work. You appear to be solving a different problem
ОтветитьRemoving gray background from styles is really a hard task.
ОтветитьI love u
ОтветитьHow do I reveal the hidden words under the shade in a photo
ОтветитьI am sorry sir, I took of my grey shade by clicking on "clear formating'' icon. I found that icon while trying to follow your video information ( and I was not able :o ) But still you was a guide haha thx
ОтветитьPERFECT - THANK YOU! :)
Ответитьthank you so muchhhhhhhhhhhhhhh finally found a vidddd
ОтветитьThis method will not work for text in a table. Microsoft interprets this command as the background color for the table, which is a separate issues from the background color for the text itself. To apply to text in a table, one must first paste the text outside the table, remove the background color, then paste back into the table.
ОтветитьHit Control A and then Control Space-bar.
Done!
It does work, its just very touch as fuck and might require selecting the word only a few times.
ОтветитьHi I got work from some I used ocr converter for typingbwork when I submitted my work that guy said I used ocr converter I didn't pay how . I want to know how he got I used ocr converter
ОтветитьI got help from this Thanks
ОтветитьNo, it doesn't work at ALL. Someone send me some documents with red shading in places and I want to remove it. This doesn't do it. I think the only way I can do it is to delete these places and retype the material, taking me days of work.
Ответитьwork!
