I love Elf Holy Hydration

I tried dermaplaning because (even though I'm not licensed) I've been studying esthetics for years & knew my skin could handle it. I didn't have a brow blade.. just long, thin utility blades (I imagine for a straight razor). It turned into more of a demabrasion because I wound up taking off an entire layer of skin. I made sure to lubricate with avocado oil which was a saving grace for cuts & razor burn. It's been 5 days since I did it & I've been keeping it extremely clean. It's really dry so I've been using a ton of moisturizers, including slugging. Normally, I'd double cleanse after a night of slugging, but my skin is still too sensitive. I've remedied that by starting with micellar water, then go in with one of three gentle cleansers: Aveeno oat, CeraVe hydrating, or Cetaphil for sensitive skin. I stopped using harsh actives (glycolic & salicylic acids, benzoyle peroxide, retinoids) while I heal. I've been using vitamin C tonic, niacinimide serum, vitamin C & collagen peptide serum & moisturizing cream, Drench n Quench gel by Bliss (contains 4 different hyaluronic acids), CeraVe rich texture cream with ceramide/hyaluronic acid, LaRoche Posay double repair matte cream, tons of LaRoche Posay 100spf sunscreen serum, & aquaphor at night. This new layer of skin is just chugging all the hydration/moisture. I know you don't recommend doing it at home, but my skin is so soft & glowy. Definitely getting the ELF holy hydration because I need a really hydrating/not too heavy day cream. I love your recommendations, especially drugstore. I can only really afford drugstore, but the product variety has come such a long way, I dont feel like I need to spend all that money on expensive brands anymore. I remember when I was a teen and we only had Clean & Clear, St. Ive's, and Neutrogena. With the current selection, I will spend hours in CVS/Target reading labels & comparing ingredients. I love that you try all this stuff & let us know what's worth the money instead of having to look at every single product. You're doing the lord's work. Please keep the drugstore series going! You'll never run out of content because the drugstore skincare market is constantly evolving & coming out with new stuff. Never though I'd be able to get luxury skincare from CVS.

If face mosturise has glycerine then how can it be best? It will burn ur skin

does the dew point moisturizer have niacinimide in it? because the iUnik one you said it was similar too has niacinimide in it so i wouldnt have to use a serum with that in it. Should i use the ordinary serum or the beauty bay soothing serum if i use the dew point moisturizing gel cream?

Do the Mary Kay timewise age fighting moisturizer I love it and the cleanser 2 formulas dry to combo n combo to oily also the miscroderabrasion amazing and the Mary Kay day solution with sunscreen 35 not heavy and same night solution amazing I have dry to combo skin and peter thomas roth gel cleanser w salicylic acid also made my forehead tingle had to stop using it

A moisturizer and sunscreen that I think is really good is La Roche-Posay Anthelios UVmune 400 Moisturising Cream SPF50. I think this would be great for normal and dry skin though. I have oily skin, and it leaves my skin with a little shine, but nonetheless I think is great.

Any thoughts on the La Roche Posay Toleriane Double Repair Matte Moisturizer? It’s the one I always use and it’s been real good to me. I have combination skin, plus very sensitive. Thank you!

So i have dry skin and I’m moving to a humid climate location. I want a lightweight moisturizer with no Fragrance and no Vitamin B5 because I’m allergic to both! So the Elf happy hydration doesn’t work on me :/

I use the cerave ultra-light moisturizing lotion with spf 30 every day under my makeup and it does help with containing my oils. My skin is as oily as it gets and I'm always looking for a better option, because the cerave one doesn't work as good as I want it to. I love the glossier priming moisturizer balance but it's only available online and it's 30$ for 50 ml

Bought the Cerave PM moisturizer lotionfor Php 1,000 or $ 19.00, the most expensive moisturizer I bought ( I am super frugal) and no regrets at all. It is the best, its already summer here, with the high temperature and high humidity, it is the only moisturizer that really softens and smoothen my skin without oily residue. My pores are loving the Niacinamide and ceramides. My sister in law said "where are your pores" it really transformed my skin. I only apply it everynight before bedtime.

Dry acne prone skin here and I got the shea moisturizer he mentions here and I am OBSESSED. I wake up glowy and have like 0 acne as of late
