Nintendo switch lite joystick replacement

Bought a switch lite for $100 aud.

The left stick had the deadzone issue left and right directions.

Repair shop wanted $100😂

For a $9 kit and 30 min job...

yo guys so im tryna pull out one of the orange cables and one of the strips just ripped am I done for or can I somehow reattach it again?

Kinda stripped my screw on the back of the switch and have no idea how to get it out 😢

thanks done it yesterday. easy except for the ribbon cable. otherwise 9/10. but for the cable i gave it 6/10 easy lol

My moving joystick has the worst drifting

After doing exactlly what is described in this video my screen is black. Switch is on i can hear the button clicks but screen is black. Please can someone help me?

I followed the tutorial to the letter but the screen won’t come on anymore. I have no clue where the issue is as everything looks fine. Any one have any suggestions?

Great video with clear instructions. Only tip I would add is to make sure you recalibrate the joystick after replacing it.

You're a life saver! My left stick developed massive dead zones making it almost unusable. Thanks to this tutorial I was able to replace it very easily with no fuss. Now I can play without frustration again!

I did everything in this video everything seems fine it turns on. All my games are there, the joycon moves way better now, only thing is there’s a weird smell coming from the top area idk how to explain it is that bad?

do i really have to crack my switch open to replace the buttons? i mean, only my button is kinda disfigured and was eaten by a rat but it still works fine, no drifts, its just that the button looks really bad. Is there another way?

Had to abort the repair because 2 of the screws on the daughter board were stripped 😢😢😢

I bought a joystick for the regular switch a long time ago just to have, but it's my Switch Lite joystick that needs replacement. Does the Switch Lite use the same joysticks as the joycons?

Thank you my left joystick did not turn right and I could not press it and now we could replace it (with couple screw search in between) again thank you

Did this and somehow disconnected/broke the screen. No idea what went wrong, also the power button is sticky and doesn't feel like its working

The replacement kit i got didnt come with screwdrivers that could take off some of the screws so now i have to wait even longer

Edit: i got the screws but it has not grip so its really hard to twist

Got it working the second time putting it back together. Had issues with the power button and D pad the first time. I just made sure to tighten everything really well and also took some extra time to make sure I got as deep of a connection with the power switch’s cable as possible.

A tip for the cable,
Get it plugged in as good as you can, before placing the actual power button module on its slot.

great video, but , no offense, you missed two important screws when put the console together.. the one by the speaker connector (silver) and the one that holds de board
