Do not use Western Union. They will put your money on hold to interview you like a criminal.

Can’t change the country so I can see the amount they will receive

I have been employed in law enforcement for almost 40 years, due to Covid I have been supporting several families in Vietnam, for no apparent reason WU decided to block my account, not impressed. Would not recommend this company to anyone.

Western union sucks. Don’t send money if you want them to put your money on hold. I will never send money through them ever again. They make you go through all kinds of hoops just to get a lousy $100. Then they ask personal questions like who are you to the person your sending it to. Which is none of their business. They don’t tell the sender before hand that they will be putting the money on hold so the person receiving the money dont have to wait in a long line just to find out you can’t get the money. And it’s not like the person who sent it can just call nooooo he has to go in person to give them his info all over again and answer personal questions.
