Thank you! I have to print a load of documents for a hugely important application and when the light came on I was so pissed. It seemed weird that it was printing absolutely fine up to the last page, so I'm really glad I searched for this before I bought a new toner cartridge in panic

You are the Man! Exactly what I needed after trying to use a non Brother toner cartridge (greencycle) with the same toner carriage. Just wouldn't recognize that fresh toner cartridge was present.

What would happen if you reset before the low toner light came on? Would it prevent the light from ever coming on?
