FIX Modern Warfare 2 Crashing, Frame Drops, & Razer Cortex On PC | MW2 Crashes

Look bro thanks a lot man you just saved me a lot of stress… the cortex app was making my game crash every time and it didn’t let me install shaders

I don’t have cortex I have synapse and it’s still crashing every time I load into a game

What if I got a AMD graphics card?

Its crashing on console as well. Pretty sure it just needs a update.

Ive almost tried everything and nothing seems to work it wont even start in the battle net app and if it starts it just crashes every 5-10 minutes and i dont use razor or anything else and i also reinstalled the old driver but doesnt help

Yea games broken on my rtx 3080 crazy screen glitches etc I just went back to driver 522.25 hoping it works!

Hope this helps someone, I experienced a crash due to my #1 loadout. I think it had to do with the tuning of my red dot. Crashed the game every time I picked that class

An update from Call of duty: We are disabling attachment tuning until further notice to investigate crashes for users with 5 attachments tuned. If you currently have a tuned attachment equipped, you will need to unequip and reequip it to use your loadout.

I did it but my frames still drop it’s weird my game will run smoothly then suddenly it would have a little lag then the frames would drop to 50 ish then it would lag again then it would go back up to its regular fps

do you know any fixes for frame skipping. my frames keep skipping from 60-120 and i cant keep a steady frame rate

i like how cortex is supposed to help and it makes it worse, do you know of a better program to show FPS in game that doesn't affect performance?
