Thanks for watching y'all! And please remember to hit that subscribe button if you haven't already 🙌🙏💙
ОтветитьMy reaction to the list of famous 8's- euuuuuuuuuuuuugh. lool
Ответить8w7 here- this was great :)
ОтветитьIt's actually scary how accurate this is. It's absolutely mindblowing. I've had tons of my friends take the tests and watch the video on their Enneagram Type, and it hasnt been wrong about a single point on any of the videos. Every single thing he said was spot on. It just shows how predictable human beings are. Never thought about it before. This is some 3rd eye level stuff. 🤯 🤯
ОтветитьNailed it on the inadequate boss. If I can't mentor a boss that is doing a poor job, I have to leave.
ОтветитьI feel like most of this didn't apply to me because I'm an eight whose greatest fear is losing control of myself. I do not care to control my environment or those around me unless they are trying to manipulate or force me into something, at which point I become the world's best immovable object. I have nearly lost control over myself on 2 separate occasions, and once it nearly ended in murder and the other in torture. The near murder happened when I was around the age of 8. Terrified me, that's the exact moment I became an eight, and I've been one ever since; the second was at 24 when there was an attempt to rape me. I was so close to destroying everything that made him what he was, and yet, even in the rage and the intense desire to peel his skin from his face and force his head into boiling water, I was screaming internally at myself and barely managed to restrain my anger. I basically told him that I couldn't stop him (he was ex-military) but that if he went through with his plan, he had better kill me when he was done and double-check because I knew if he didn't, I would hunt him done and have him begging for death for decades to come. That's why I fear losing control. I would rather die a hundred times over than give in to that evil in me. I don't challenge life, I don't challenge people except to help them achieve the goals they have laid for themselves. I challenge myself. I am the only person on this planet that I fear and the only one I worry that I will lose to. My interactions are vastly different then most 8s for it I think.
ОтветитьThank you for all the information sir
Ответитьyep you are right on I'm an 8 and sometimes an 8hole.
Ответить8 here 🙋🏻♂️😂😭
ОтветитьI appreciate you and this video so much, but recognizing myself is ridiculously hard
ОтветитьThe early childhood characterization was spot on. And as a VERY intense 8 wing 7, I cracked up. As I've matured, I've more balanced.
ОтветитьI am an 8 and a lot of my worst nightmares are about being forced to do things or being controlled
ОтветитьThank you mate. I hung on every word. I'm on my journey to the healthy 8.
ОтветитьThank you so much for your work and dedication ..great to listen to easy comprehensive complete love it ..Mi partner its 8w9 helpful to understand her better. (i am 1 w9 :)
ОтветитьI didn't know a thing about Enneagram and kind of randomly took the test. Your video was great, fun and I learned a lot. And I promise to try and not be an 8-hole. ;)
ОтветитьThis is so on point!! Excellent work!
ОтветитьI am an 8w7 and a lot of what you said here was spot on. What does need more discussing is how gender roles, stereotypes, and fucking stupid descriptions discourage women from identifying with this type.
ОтветитьI'm a INFJ 2w1. I believe both my parents are ESTJ type 8s. With both of them it can really like talking to a brick wall at times. They always have this need to win, and it is exhausting. What you described, I do think they're an 8w7. Just recently have come across your videos. Love how informative and straight forward they are.
ОтветитьSo interesting, I initially thought I was a two and then figured out it’s actually eight!
ОтветитьAmazing explanation. You make it so easy to understand.
ОтветитьMeh. Sin is a construct used to control and extort people out of fear of negative consequences.
No suprise the bull is the spirit animal here. In hellenic astrology I have Taurus 5 times in the natal chart.
I literally yelled F*CK when you said who the famous 8s are.
ОтветитьDunno about other 8s, but as I see it, in the scenario of being afraid to show vulnerability, the fear is the weak part, not the vulnerability. True strength acts in spite of fear 😤
ОтветитьI’m a single mother 4w5 to an 8 year old 8 and a 15 year old 9. My 9 daughter wants nothing to do with my 8 daughter. My 8 daughter has been diagnosed with adhd and odd. I guess it’s really just extreme 8 behavior. These videos are helpful because as a 4 OF COURSE I want to understand her but my ability to help her sit with her emotions is wasted because she wants nothing to do with that. 😩 Shakespeare has written lesser tragedies. lol
I really love scrolling the comment section to hear how adult 8’s are doing and how I might yet help her. She tries to boss the whole house and it’s a constant power struggle for me.
Of course she wants a dog and loves them more than anything! And she manhandles our car who HATES IT. Lol help
The ultimate anime type 8s for me are Asuka from Evangelion and Kyoko from Madoka Magica.
ОтветитьGREAT COMMUNICATOR & DEMEANOR for your delivery objectives. I'll be back!
ОтветитьI thought I had 8 in my tritype as the least likely one, now this is making me re-think things, especially what was said about 8s disintegrating into 5s.
When I'm stressed or annoyed at people, I do tend to hoard things, and I don't like people getting in my personal space, or taking up my time. When I'm not stressed out, I actually like helping people, like it was mentioned, type 8s will integrate into 2s.
I was on the fence with 8, 5, and 3, which can all be part of a tritype, but I wasn't sure which one was my dominant one. After watching this video and the one about type 5s, type 8 seems way more likely.
I'm from South Africa, and I thought we had a good shot at making the spirit country 😂 It's a wild west out here! This country seems to have a lot of 8s, and people with 8 in their tritypes; as we all grew up with a looming sense of danger. It's normal here 😂 More seriously, I can see how the childhood experience comes in. I have control issues. I know why now. My mom developed a serious problem with alcohol and drugs after the divorce, and I had to look after her, and try to shelter my younger sister from the worst of it. I was rubbish at that, of course. I alienated my sister by becoming too bossy with her. She was right. I'm not her mom. I'm only 3 years older than her, and was very much still a child at the time. I just really didn't want her to fuck up her life. I was so worried about how all the drama with mom was making her act out.
ОтветитьI've been a student of the Enneagram for seven years or so and this video was a great refresher. It brought me some clarity after a very "Eight" encounter I had with a loved one who is a type Eight. Thank you!
ОтветитьVery slick delivery. Great content.
ОтветитьI am a type 8. And I totally agree with everything that you have said.
ОтветитьType 8/7w here and I approve of this message 😎😁
ОтветитьJust took the test last week and learned im an 8…. Wow does this explain a lot. These videos have been crucial.
ОтветитьThank you for this video! As a type 8, I needed an analysis and then guidance. This video did both🙏
ОтветитьIm a 8w9, a mix between ENFJ/INFJ-A 🥰 im still assertive but in a cautious way, and i see emotional intelligence as a perk and good quality to have.. that means being vulnerable is a challenge for me to grow as a person and get a positive reaction from the people around me, which makes me feel in control as well.
ОтветитьI don’t know if I believe in this stuff, but I certainly find it interesting
Ответить8 wing 7 here. I might add that the ‘endless energy’ is not endless! At some point, the intense control-freak ness has a cost on health and well-being. Predictably, this perpetuates the need for control and the longer we spend disintegrated in 5 anxiety, the harder it is to break the loop.
Finding connection and being in the service of others on the other hand creates a flow that can replenish lost energy. Along with a good dose of discipline (in any form - art, martial arts, cooking, weeding the garden..) to temper the intensity.
And a dog.
Thank you!
I'm currently writing a character at both their younger and much older self.
This video helped me see better. Thank you for your work.
8 holes😂
I'm an 8 with a 7 wing... uh oh. lol
ОтветитьWhat type of camera is this? I love it😅 and I'm for real, please send the details ❤
ОтветитьIn the marvel universe I'm pretty sure bucky barnes is an 8
ОтветитьI Am Iron Man!
ОтветитьAs a type 8, i say thank you for this video, and even as an 8w7, we'll really aren't just a bunch of 8holes 😭
We're just very selctive when it comes to showing emotions and "goodness" because of the constant fear of being taken advantage of :)
female 8 here :)
ОтветитьYou described the 8 wing 7 as if it is inherently unhealthy and bad, and as if you have had intense negative experiences with them and that is shaping your entire view. This isn’t my type, and I feel that this is a disservice and sort of shaming to individuals with that type and subtype. Even when you said one positive thing about them, you joked after and said “or just sell some shit on Shark Tank.”
I have really been enjoying and learning from your videos. So thank you. I hope you will take a moment to rewatch and reflect on why you felt this was all you could share about this subtype.
LOVE THIS! THANK YOU
ОтветитьWow, accurate.
ОтветитьWow I literally just discovered your channel, I love it keep it up I'm sure it's gonna grow really fast, especially because of the structure that is going on here. Thank you for helping me gain more knowledge.
So I wanted to ask you a question: I took a test and it came out that I was an 8. (My MBTI is ENTJ btw just fyi) but one of my major problems is that I constantly feel the need to help others and put them infront of my needs, for example my classmates.
I am realizing that I am doing this way too much, like I feel that it is probably beyond average, so is it still possible for me to be an 8 or does it have something to do with me still being a child?
It's really confusing since I also have traits of an 8. (Hope you see this lol)
Very helpful video ! Thanks a lot !
ОтветитьPlease explain me what means the worst traits of 5s. You said only a few about it, I need more information to get it correctly
Ответить
