Borderlands 3 Hype.

I did exactly this with borderlands 2. I've started to do this with movies as well, I feel that it helps really improve my enjoyment of the content when I'm not sure what to expect.

Having created so much online content about Borderlands, surely you have some ideas about what you would like to see (e.g. assault rifles that aren't balls, playable characters that are better balanced for both basic gameplay and bosses).

I know you've said you're not particularly interested in talking about BL3, but surely the Gearbox people keep tabs on their more popular let's play-ers. You could have influence.

Hype does in the end become non-consumer but its really important for the game company to have investors see the amount of people that are going to buy it. Even though no mans sky was complete shit they managed to sell copies so developers now are told by shareholders to create hype if the game becomes crap

Didn't know anything about tf2 loved it, didn't know anything about bl2 loved it didn't know anything about paladins loved it didn't know anything about smite loved it , knew a lot about battleborn, hated it

I don't think the pre-sequel was that bad. Sure the characters weren't as good, some of the weapons weren't as solid, and the final boss was terrible, but either than that it was pretty solid. It was nothing compared to 2 though, you are right in that aspect.

I was waiting on the Aliens reference... I had that game pre-ordered for roughly 6 years... sad thing is I know not to trust development hell games and should have given up the pre-order as soon as it was super delayed but nope, I found the project was taken over by Gearbox and got even more excited and then it finally came out... I still look at it on the shelf with disgust... I was so angry with that game I didn't even trade it in... which is good because I think keeping it around has helped me from ever getting to hyped about any game coming out in the future... but I also hopped on the original Borderlands train pretty early as well, I was working in a video game store at the time so I had to stay up on all the upcoming games... I think I still have the initial Borderlands teaser trailer downloaded on my 360.

This gameplay is giving me major nerd chubs, thinking about maybe picking it back up. I wanted to complete the game with every character and I have a couple of favorites. Always been a big fan of Zero, Maya, and Paige.

Dude, I'm suscribed. And I think this video should be watched by a lot of people because. nd I feel u, the games that I like the most (talking in general) are the ones that I don't really know or have any hype. Because yeah you can be excited about something but it's better to wait patiently and judging it from scratch so we could have a better experience without actually wait for nothing. The game will surprise you in other ways that you didn't actually know and yeah, this game is actually one of my favorite sagas ever and when I played it first, I didn't know people talking about it but the ones who actually played it were like "oh yeah, hey.. that game was actually REALLY GOOD OMG" and yeah, I had a brutal blast with it!

what about a crossover between borderland and battleborn?

What would you like to see in Borderlands 3?.

Borderlands 3 will suck donkey balls. Like every other Borderlands have done and still no changes have been done. Copy and Paste weapons with friends, as the pre-sequel was even worse with moonstone grinded epic weapons copied and pasted between friends to oblivion. I bet Gearbox Software will do the same mistake with Borderlands 3 and gimp it down with possibility to doubling your weapons to infinity. FUCK THIS GAME IF NO CHANGES WILL TAKE PLACE AND WEAPONS NOT BEEN LOCKED TO THE PLAYERS WHO ACTUALLY LOOTS OR FINDS THOSE. But we been already through 3 Borderlands games and still the weapons can be doublicated to fucking infinity, until every fuck runs with all the best guns in the game. Boringlands, literally.

I just hope Borderlands 3 has a bunch of raid bosses (And not just the Sentinel.) As well as that, would be good to have a good level of content. Claptastic Voyage and the DLC characters were the only interesting pieces of DLC. Borderlands 2 had 5 fun Headhunters, 4 great Story DLCs and 2 really cool characters.

All I want for information about Borderlands 3 is a realease date. I'd rather figure out what's in the game myself and enjoy the game when it's out.

I would like for them to keep your character talking in more than just combat like they did in the pre sequel. Just keep the farmable bosses.

Borderlands 3 is like fight club. We don't talk about it. (Until it comes out of course.)

This video is almost a year old, but still rings true now. Gearbox has been inconsistent, to say the least. When the original was first announced in the September '07 issue of Game Informer it was drastically different from what the final product turned out to be. I still have that issue and wonder what could've been if they kept their original vision for the series, but we're probably better off now because of the changes.

Towards the end of Borderlands post-launch support, GB trademarked "Borderworlds" and the ending of Claptrap's New Robot Revolution alludes to the sequel leaving Pandora. Three years later, BL 2 released and took place on Pandora. The ending of 2 and parts of The Pre-Sequel follow suit, but they mean absolutely nothing unitl BL 3 finally releases.

To answer Bahroo's question: I stopped trusting pre-release footage when BioShock Infinite launched. Fuck what that game turned into.

Totaly right :) Everyone hyped about the pre sequel, when they release it.. big disapointment.. even someone to gift u that game u will refuse it lol. I am excited about Borderlands 3 because after already mentioned the pre sequel, they know they must make great one. Even if is borderlands 2 with better graphics and few more worlds/dlc's included..reworked.. etc.. i will be happy.. I never played game so many years over and over and never get tired of it like i played Borderlands 2.
