You spoke about it comparing DD to Belt Drive, I just got TCPC Racer (its not opened yet, Xmas present from Wife with my help lol) got the Ferrari 488 one so tops out at $700, nice wheel though. I could return this and get Simexperience Accuforce V2 for 1K which would be an extra $300. Like one post that I read, I am not getting a response for questions from Simexperience. Seems they are possibly spread too thin which makes me wonder if you have issues in the future will they be there for you. My Wife’s family lives right near their HQ as well lol... so I thought I would have an in. Just confused on what I should do, like the 16 newtons it puts out but does the TCPC Racer put out close to that as well? Saving the $300 and the customer experience is right now where I am at...

Do you still recommend this? The base is 625 with black Friday sale I'm thinking of combining it with a 3d rap f1 wheel

That must be some kind of record.

Really the cable is not a deal breaker! What a terrible design they came up with it. This will be a frustrating issue to deal with it while you are racing, I wanna focus on the track not fixing the cable. This actually the only reason that kept me away from buying it.

Hey paesan. Nice vid. I'm thinking of selling my Large Mige Simucube for an AF because of all the FFB customisation. Do you have any experience with an OSW/Simucube?

Wow great review where were you a year and a half ago when i wanted to pull the trigger on this when it was 1200 bucks, wish I would've purchased it now. I also remember contacting the company back then and asking them to lower their price to 1000 bucks , and they wouldn't budge

It's not the wheel it's the mug behind it that makes the difference yes direct drive is better but half the douchebags that have these setups I can beat them with my G29 these things are not the magic silver bullet they won't make you incredibly fast or a very good driver before you waste the money make sure it's not the idiot behind the wheel that's making you slow

Dan, do you have a profile in the simxperience library for rfactor 2? I watched your rf2 video and seeing as you love it, I would love to see and use your settings on my accuforce with rf2. If you have a profile you have uploaded, can you let me know what it's called?

From my understanding with that Button Box on the wheel you should be able to just take the screws off the Rim and put any other Rim on there with the same screw pattern.

I wonder how exactly you've got your cable routed lol...in the year I've owned mine and the MANY MANY MANY MANY hours I've used it.....not a single time have I ever had the cable wrap around anything on the wheel. I don't even notice it's there, and I have driven a ton of cars as well as using 900 degree maximum rotation. I've used 2 different cables now, the original and a replacement cable I bought online when I accidentally broke the plastic tab that secures it to the wheel.

I imagine that it must be something with how you've routed it?

Don’t laugh too hard as this is a beginners question. if I buy this wheel system and all the rest like pedals and shifter from fanatec how much of a pain is this going to be to plug everything in separately as a stand-alone USB device and set them all up everytime I change cars within a game or change games outright vs if I just buy everything from fanatec? It’s worth the hassle?

I tested all the wheels at the Sim expo in Nurburg (Bodner, Accuforce 2, DD1, DD2, Simucube 30) - for me the Accuforce 2 fell clearly behind the others.

Super review :)

why you would need more power than 12nm? do you know how much nm a indycar has in reallife?! you need more power, for more realism. get youself a SIMUcube OSW instead this cheap stepper crap. modular, more details, less clipping, choose your own rim.

I felt that nochiness when I had my excellent T300 yet I did not have the English words to describe it. However, with my CSW V2 there is zero nochiness.

I think there is a Bluetooth adapter in the future for the button box....as for as the fan noise....i don't notice it because my PC fans are much louder than the Accuforce Fan on the controller box.....lol great wheel and review....

i feel all those inticate details in my t300,its all down to the sim you use, theres a reason rf2s ffb and physics are known as the best

simcommander is perfect for those sims with lacklustre physics and ffb because as you say you can add your own effects

Good review and I agree. I have had mine for around 1 month and love it. As for the question 'is there enough power', have you ever had yours 'jolt' out of your hands? I have and it could quite easily break your finger/thumb or wrist if it catches in the right way/time. Accuforce recommend removing the wheel each time you finish racing, because next time you start it up it recalibrates and can break the plug off the end of the cable (been there, done that, now have a crimping tool and spare plugs). Or you could just disconnect the cable itself, but its a little sprung piece of plastic and probably easy to break. Whats more, I find it easier getting on/off my rig without the wheel in pace.

Power ain't everything, I too had to tone down my Fanatec Clubsport Wheel 2.5 force feedback to 30%- 33% as well, starting at full power on any wheel is absurd. I prefer the super smoothness oppose to my previous Logitech huge deadzone.

A TSPC Racer has ~6Nm that you've maxed out you say, twice as powerful would be 12Nm. You also say you run the AF V2 at 30%, 100% are ~13Nm. So basically you say 2x6Nm = 13Nm/3

Really hoping that this thing will be less of a pain in the ass to buy when I'm in a position to consider a DirectDrive wheel. Doubt it'll happen though, so it'll probably end up being a OSW or Fanatec DD, kinda sad because this thing is a pretty good deal with the included rim, unless you're outside the US like me.
