Mixed media is the smartest thing EVER! I designed a Christmas card last year, and I used four different media when making it. I used oil pastels for the black sky and aurora borealis, correction pen for the moon and stars, mechanical pencil for tracing the cutouts for the reindeer, sleigh, and sack of presents, and colored pencils for the rest.
