LORD OF THE RINGS ONLINE IN 2024 (NEW PLAYER EXPERIENCE)

Thanks for the video. This game is actually quite good, the community is amazing, theres of course some issues, but overall its amazing considering the resources it has. Sadly the UI and graphics are is downfall. Still lots of players still play a lot.

game is good its just unplayable on modern monitors unless you still have a 1080p floating around somewhere

The game is actually pretty nice. IF you're a fan of LOTR, then you're definitely gonna enjoy it. That being said, even a newcomer is going to have a lot of fun, once he learns the basics.

It's definitely NOT pay to win. You can buy LOTRO points if you want to, BUT you also have the choice to grind deeds in-game and earn LOTRO points by actually playing the game. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but there is NO paywall in this game that you can't overcome by playing the game.

A few more points to clarify:
Not all races have the same starting zone.
The crafting system is quite useful (at least in early game, haven't even reached mid game yet) and also not p2w. All the gear that my characters are currently wearing is crafted gear (paid 0$), which is much better than the gear you get from rewards.
There are different types of deeds, some of which have different levels (eg killing deeds) and each level rewards you with more lotro points than the previous. There is a way to "abuse" this system to grind enough lotro points fast and unlock everything you might want (more character slots, inventory slots, bank slots, AH slots etc).

Overall, it's a fun game, but it's old and can be a bit rough around the edges. Imho you should definitely watch a few beginner's guides if you intend on playing it, since it can be a bit confusing for new players.

i actually really like lotro, i played for like 200hrs with a dwarf hunter, but i made the begginers mistake of using a lvl boost that they gave to everybody to skip to lvl 120 i think and i was like lvl 43 and then all of sudden i was lost at lvl 120 with full gear in a random place in the map without knowing what to do lol, then i got discouraged and stopped playing because i didnt want to create a new character and dont know what to do with the 120 character*

Druid no shapeshifter its not wow, also origin of word druid has nothing to do with shapeshifting
