Can you explain what you did daily in between not having revenue yet and it growing? You said to put in daily time of 30-60 minutes, but what do you do? Change the designs and descriptions until you find what works?
ОтветитьThank you for this video Alek. You are awesome and gave me a lot of ideas for my photography business. I am gouging to watch your other videos and follow your lead. I have subbed already. Thanks a million.
ОтветитьI'm seriously tired of always hearing about "how bad things are" as a way to deter people from starting their work.
ОтветитьI would like to see a break down of gross to net and how you keep the tax man away. LLC, DBA, ect. I get that each state has differing sales tax but federal income tax can be up to 25% depending on strategy. What is yours?
ОтветитьDid you have to apply for sales tax certificate from your state to upload on printify?? What did you do?
Ответитьcool. how much of that increase was due to paid ads?
ОтветитьVery useful video. Thank you sir
ОтветитьSo I'm doing mine on spreadshirt? Anyone alse doing theirs on spreadshirt and do you know if you can see other people's shops? I would like to try this. One last thing. Where have you gone for inspiration? I was told to find a niche. Where have you gone to get inspired for your niche?
ОтветитьGreat video! thank you very much. Unfortunately, Etsy is not available in my country. If you were to start over with some print on demand business (mugs or otherwise), would you think in other platforms other than Etsy?
ОтветитьI would love to see a video of what do you think about ads on etsy? (if you still don't have one of those... I am new here). Also... probably a reply to my comment would be good enough :D
Ответитьhow can i find the site overview and sales performance of the seller id like to emulate, cant seem to find it anywhere, thanks
ОтветитьThank you for your information - i have a problem " i am a graphic designer form egypt - But the Etsy website does not allow me to register through it. Egypt is not one of the countries included in the registration list - Can you guide me to a solution?
ОтветитьAlek.... didnt say anything about PRINT ON DEMAND> Misleading title, but informative none the less.
ОтветитьI found it takes about a year for a new store to start to get any traction and sales on Etsy even with heavy ad marketing
ОтветитьSo many people selling so much meaningless crap.
ОтветитьVery good information, clear and without sugar coating.
ОтветитьThanks Alek, clear and to the point with warmth and intelligence. Looking forward in 'eating your brains!' with patience of course!
ОтветитьYou're confusing viewers with GROSS profit, not NET profit. There are other costs which must be accounted for; these are known as COST OF GOODS SOLD (COGS). Only after accounting for those costs can actual NET profit be calculated (and for a sole proprietorship or general partnership, the NET profit will be the owner's income).
ОтветитьThank you Alex. This was Avery insightful video from the motivational framework, the incorporation of the 80/20 rule, and overall it did not make me feel like I was wasting my time watching YOUR video. Cheers
ОтветитьSomething I just found out today was that if you don't use US dollars as I am in Australia so Etsy was set to AUD but the print on demand company uses USD. when it syncs it doesn't auto adjust the currency it just uses what ever amount is listed in your costings. This could have been bad for me :(
ОтветитьWhen you say 400 listings, does that mean 400 different products?
Ответитьwhat automation tools do you use? for uploading and etc
Ответитьsorry if it was already written - They sell it for 12.99 and in the calculator you wrote 21.98 which compleltly inflate their profit.... other than that great video 🤩
ОтветитьCould you elaborate on what happened or changed during August to October 2020, it seem that this was when your store started to transform.
ОтветитьGreat info
ОтветитьThanks for keeping the instructions simple and clear. For the past few years I have focused on getting the industrial hemp market started in New York. Now we seek to create sales models to help community people make some money. Let me know if this interests you. My goal is for most people to get paid and thus inspire the economy we prefer.
ОтветитьMakes you wonder the true reason these gurus make these videos and build up their competition. When there are so many affiliate links and/or courses, I think we know why. Still I appreciate the information so perhaps this is the fee to pay for this information. But generally, the tutorials on the sites give enough training. The rest includes much intuition and mindset.
ОтветитьThis video is a blessing. Thank you so much. I was almost going to give up on my shop (not a mug business but I may consider that in the future 😅) but you’ve given me a formula that makes it worth the effort.
Taking notes.
Big Alura Ad.. no more
ОтветитьHey Alek, great video. Can you please talk about "brand" in developing a store? If say you had different styles or products in mind, would it be
better to have two or three shops, each with a distinct development along a theme, aesthetic, type of product or branding? All the advice so far seem to point away from mixing. Thank you.
We are all going to be poor
ОтветитьHey Alek, thanks for this video and for sharing your perspective. Does this mean niche-one/two item stores are more profitable in general or, would one be okay to create a shop with a print-on-demand for several items and still make a good amount of revenue?
ОтветитьThank You Alek🧡
ОтветитьThanks for all the info and relevant numbers, i have been on the fence about this for a while having a job and all, i got laid off and have decided to give this a shot.
Thanks!🎉
this is a 5-minute video, not 13
Ответитьthank you!
ОтветитьWhat u mean by listings?
Ответитьwho the fuck is buying these stupid mugs at $20
ОтветитьGreat video
ОтветитьGreat video!
ОтветитьReally useful. Thank you for this. I'm in the early phase of this myself now with just a few orders coming in as I develop traffic drivers and looking to work out next actions. For PoD products specifically, would be good to get a view on how - beyond just direct margin - you might want to assess suppliers and, critically, how to look out for signs that the massive effort of switching suppliers might be worth the investment.
ОтветитьWhat was the biggest GAME CHANGER that made the sales curve turn from "failure" pattern to skyrocket orders?
ОтветитьI have to be honest. I can try to gain some money with this but the main reason is... I WANT TO WEAR VERY GOOD AND SMART DESIGN I CANNOT FIND ANYWHERE MATCHING MY LOOK
if people enjoy it, why not
Man i love this
ОтветитьI'd love to see a video where you break down moving to a shopify store and bringing your customers with you.
ОтветитьThe other guy said he had the truth. His numbers were green.
ОтветитьExcellent tutorial Alek! You're like the business coach I've always wanted! As to what more I want to see, I'd like to see online marketing techniques to drive traffic to your Etsy site such as Facebook, Pinterest marketing, etc. Also you alluded to automation, certainly I'd like to see how AI plays into this and how automation apps such as Zapier can streamline your process. Thanks again!
